Yes! I wondered how the woman last night looking in Mallorca had such a good budget, and why she was looking at apartments in Magaluf in the thick of things with two children? They may have been teenagers, but she didn't look old enough. As you can see, I was more interested in the back story 😄

I’m watched. Was interested in the friend who was going to invest about £5,000 . How was that going to work ? They were definitely looking for a party pad!

Surely a pool and access to the beach for the children would be most important ?
I too was interested in the back story.
The friend seemed more sensible.
Why was I not surprised they didn’t go for any of the apartments offered.
Alcudia and particularly Puorto Pollensa are very suitable for children.

Could someone explain this programme to me? Why does it virtually always seem to be a version of the same couple, with very occasional deviation into pairs of friends or a same sex couple? Why are the couples always holding hands awkwardly? Why do all the properties they are shown so often look very similar (and usually rather depressing)? Is there a specific budget above or below which the programme doesn't cater for?

Me too! They usually mention occupations/jobs, but didn't with her. No mention of an inheritance which is another "reason" they often mention. No mention of the kids' father or her partner/husband either. None of it made sense as she barely mentioned the needs of her daughters. I wondered if she was just on the program for a freebie holiday with no intention of buying anything. She didn't really seem serious to me.

I've read that the producers scrutinise applicants quite carefully, check they've got funds etc. The house hunters usually mention a dead parent who's left them money and they're buying a lovely holiday home in honour of said parent 🙄. Deffo a back story with Magaluf woman.
