I think this has been an epic series but I really hope they don’t do a civilian and a celebrity version every year - I think it would kill it and they wouldn’t be able to maintain the calibre of celebs and it would end up being full of reality tv stars. I really liked the mix of celebs this year and I loved what Celia said about how her son thought the celebs would be ‘poncing about’ but that they all actually took it seriously and couldn’t help but take it personally at the Round Table despite knowing it was just a game. I think the majority of them genuinely did it because they loved the programme so much

I agree. This has been great because there has been so many really high quality people in it. Other show ‘celeb’ versions are people from Towie and Love Island.

TellingBone · 30/10/2025 23:33

What mystified me tonight was that they didn't follow Celia's strategy the previous night of getting several people behind her to all vote the same person, which was successful and did happen to bag a traitor. They were all over the place again.

Joe's happened to land on the two traitors this time, but he's been certain about others on previous occasions and then has not voted for them at the round table, preferring to go with the sentiment in the discussion. I'm another that's gone right off him following some of his comments.

It's such a good game. What I've noticed most of all vs the civilian series - no 'I've voted for yourself' and no, 's/he can't be traitor, s/he's too nice/honest/my friend'. Both very welcome differences. Oh and - at last some of the smarter faithfuls articulating that it's really only the end game that matters, because even if you do bag traitors early they just recruit.

Does anyone know the music played before the round table? Can't find it anywhere on search.

Clubbed to death from the matrix reloaded?

Nick seems to be the only one with half a brain

He was the only one who removed some clothes, trying it with bulky hoodies and so on was crazy.

CrimsonStoat · 30/10/2025 23:53

David took his shoes off.

Cat said, "I've voted for yourself...."

TellingBone · 30/10/2025 23:57

Right that's Cat cancelled 😂

Ratafia · 31/10/2025 00:00

Surely voting Cat out must be a no-brainer? They know it's highly unlikely that the traitors would all have been men, and she's the only woman left.

BungledBundle · 31/10/2025 00:01

I know Alan gave it away with his giggle anyway but when they were all sitting round the fire pit outside, Alan and Cat were pretty much shoulder to shoulder with a gap between them and David(?) on their left and Nick and Joe on their right. It was such a giveaway.

It's interesting how bad David seems to be at perceiving people. Though maybe it is impossible in there. I want to rewatch the bit where David and Kate got narky with each other at hte round table. (Was interrupted by home stuff.) I don't like it when men suddenly show a nasty side.

Nick, on the other hand, is a little sugar plum. 😍

Thank you 😊 it is it.

OverDram · 31/10/2025 00:42

The big dog concept was correct. I like Joe

Tofufuton · 31/10/2025 00:49

It's the Faithfuls' to lose at this point, which would be fine ordinarily, but I think the producers have been really heavy-handed these last two episodes with both a second murder in plain sight and an "I am a Faithful" round robin. They're throwing the kitchen sink at the game to rebalance the Traitors' prior dominance, but the latter stages are more crucial than the first half so the producers' tampering at this point seems unfair.

David is kingmaker - I wonder if he realises?

ShowDownTime · 31/10/2025 00:57

It’s every player for themself now. Cat and Alan’s best move is to ally themselves with the faithful and try to swing the vote towards the other traitor.

To be fair, they've always had a "I am a Faithful" round robin in the other UK series.

Nobody seem to have sussed out anything from Alan reciting Shakespeare and then toasting Celia, so the plain sight murder appeared very natural for Alan.

ShowDownTime · 31/10/2025 01:00

Why are they delaying the final? What does the BBC gain from that?

Also, do we think it was rigged for Joe to get a shield? By making him and David the last pair it was guaranteed he’d take the shield. Without it they’d have murdered him for sure.

Edited

Yes, but not normally so close to the final IIRC? Or hot on the heels of a plain sight murder. They're flinging everything at Team Traitors to destabilise them.

It's a miracle Alan got away with his random elaborate bit of Shakespeare. No wonder he was cracking up at the end!

Yeah but suddenly the true faithfuls are realising it's a game of survival? I think it's a clever tactic. Traitors hold the power so go close or be useful to them to not be murdered. Then at the last minute....

Hullopalloo · 31/10/2025 05:01

Can I just say David's voice is so chilled, my kids were saying that's someone who never gets mad!

EleanorReally · 31/10/2025 05:46

David sounds like someone who would do prayer for today

I don't see how two people sitting next to each other is a giveaway that they're traitors.

Lampzade · 31/10/2025 05:58

Rentin · 30/10/2025 22:41

I cannot stand Joe. Ditzy damsel and happily telling her that maybe she’s a bit less thick than he initially assumed as if it’s a compliment.

Kate grew on me. She wasn’t good at the game but I think she just didn’t know how to figure it out and I’m glad she stood up for herself a bit at the table.

I am surprised Celia didn’t get more heat on her.

I’m gutted that the traitors have sort of fallen apart as I would’ve loved a traitor win. I think it’s going to be Joe and Nick now. Nick did have a moment of doubt about Joe and if they can mange to turn him against Joe I think it would make some of the best tv ever but sadly I think they’re loyal to each other no matter what now.

I do not like Joe at all
He is the type of person who makes people feel uncomfortable . I didn’t like the way he behaved during the laser challenge when the others were trying to encourage him.
The others are definitely a bit wary of him
I don’t think that he should be lauded for suggesting that Cat and Alan are traitors . After all there are only five of them left .

Lampzade · 31/10/2025 06:00

Btw why should Cat pick up Joe’s wine glass?
She is there to play The Traitors not The Cleaners
Not her business to clean up after a grown man
Would people expect Joe to pick up Cat’s glass if she had left it behind ?
Or is Car expected to pick it up because she is a woman ?

EleanorReally · 31/10/2025 06:15

i am team joe
joe and nick but david is being a bit clever clever and annoying me

CaveMum · 31/10/2025 06:36

My personal opinion is that they used a second plain sight murder simply because the Faithful were so bad at finding the Traitors.

You’d expect at least 1 recruitment in a series, which introduces jeopardy for the Traitors, but that element wasn’t an option this time so they had to do something to add a bit more risk.

I don’t mind it, it’s a game after all.

And let me just say to all the new members of Team Nick - welcome aboard, but I SAW HIM FIRST!

😜
