I am not liking the song list. They will murder most of those. Suppose every week is Hallowe'en in that case by the singers.

The songs don’t feel very Halloween to me overall - some are just a tenuous link by the title and the lyrics are nothing to do with Halloween. Oh well, maybe better than trying to shoehorn a dance into the Monster Mash again.

FFS not another themed week!

We're going to end up with no "ordinary" weeks at this rate.

I like Halloween. Not fond of the others, though.

I wouldn't mind Halloween if it was the only one, but they've gradually added loads more over the years.

There's too many fancy dress themed weeks as it is.

It's all very infantalizing to the contestants and the audience, and sometimes the costumes are too much of a liability for the contestants to dance cleanly.

Nikita did a great cha cha with Tilly Ramsay a few years ago. She didn’t get that far in the competition iirc but it was probably her best dance.

Looking forward to Karen’s AT. Joe Suggs and Diane did their AT to Red Right Hand, I think it’s a good track for an AT, I have high hopes. Poor Alex though…

Some of those songs have a VERY tenuous link to Hallowe’en. Horny? FFS. I hate Hallowe’en week

Then you get celebs who won't do Halloween for religious reasons, eg Dan Walker or JB Gill, so they have to dress them up as a lobster or something!

She is, but she was there because of Wicked or something it seemed pretty pointless, I think they have mentors on DWTS so probably copying that.

All the theme stuff becomes like xmas, it's there all the time in the background so there's nothing special about it any more. Glad I was a kid in the 70's where holidays only happened for the few days they should. Made them something to look forward to as there was so little saturation. I'm expecting easter eggs in the shops soon.

I was thinking the same. There used to be no Christmas stuff until after Guy Fawkes Night. No decorations before 1st December.

Halloween has always been my least favourite theme week because of the bonkers costumes. You can barely see the dancing past them, and the weird shapes they make people into.

Make Halloween about appropriate spooky music for dances more than ridiculous costumes.
