Missy, Mario is twice her age, and he also was vile to her. He called her a piece of shit amongst other things. A man of that age should not be behaving like that. He has absolutely no endearing features, really don't know what Lisa is doing with him. Mind you, they both have the personality of a peanut so it figures.

She made a good point in the interview. If she had cuddled up etc to Mario, then the nation would be muttering about how she was cosying up to someone's boyfriend and poor Lisa etc. The poor girl couldn't win.

I didn't see the bit where he called her that lazarou. To be honest it sounds like he just reacted to the way Stephanie's behaved over the last few days and she's just pushed him too far.

I thought he did pretty well not to react sooner to all the grief she gave him especially when she threw the wedding ring across the diary room in a strop! How pathetic was that. And he just sat there and took it.

It just seemed to me like he was really trying to make the task work and she wasn't having any of it. And because of her behavious all four of them were up for eviction.

The task wasn't that everyone should believe that the two of them were a couple.

The task was actually that no one should guess that Mario and Lisa were a couple.

The bit of the task that Stephanie had to complete was that she had to go through with the "marriage" - which she did.

TBH I think they were royally stitched up. Big Brother made an announcement at the end saying that there was a "secret couple" there and asking everyone to guess who they were. I could have never seen any of them before in my life, but if they were lined up in front of me I could tell just by looking that the couple were Lisa and Mario.

For it to have been fair, I think that it should just have been that someone accused Mario and Lisa of being a couple before the time of the task ran out (rather than the sudden stupid "guess the couple" game).

I'm not surprised that Stephanie acted like a "spoilt brat". I think the whole task was ill thought out and unfair. The next task she totally threw herself into, and that would definitely have been outside her "comfort zone" too.

This is just another example of Big Brother messing with the basic formula - and then it ends up with someone who could have been quite good getting the boot.

Not "Fail a task and you will be up for eviction." Haven't they learned anything from previous years when they cocked up the formula and someone good (eg Nikki) went?

Agree PM. She had this little "friendship" thing going on with Rex that would have been great to see developing seeing as he has a girlfriend outside. I admit I was really surprised when she went. Mario and Lisa are just bloody awful. From what is being said on here as well it really sounds like it was fixed to me.

This thing about Mario and Lisa being the only chance of Rumpy Pumpy just kills me. I would rather see two Water Buffalo at it.

Mario has been pretty awful to watch the last few days, i thought he was in the "ok" group on day 1&2 but that was as far as i went.

I really wanted to see what would have developed with Rex & Steph, that would have been interesting BUt no the vote was obviously fixed because who the feck wants to watch Mario & Lisa getting Jiggy, yuuuk puuuuke, yuuuuuk !

I also think it is a fix (why on earth anyone would want to watch Mario is beyond me.)

Well, if things carry on as they are it probably won't be alex going next week. It will be one of the blandies, like rachel, jennifer or that one that keeps getting her kit off.

saw in a newspaper this morning that Mario said that the reason he wasnt evicted was because of his 'fan base' - he went as far to suggest that he has 'tens of thousands' of fans.

i agree tht all these task based nominations need to stop- all the fun of the first series was seeing the nminations, and the two-faced back stabbing that went on in the diary room. Making it part of a task takes the fun out of it, really. And yes, they have shot themselves in the foot in previous series when a moew interesting housemate has been evicted because of it...

I couldn't stay awake to watch steph's eviction interview, how did that go?

thinking about it, maybe having annoying mario in there being a dick will be more entertaining.

Yes, I suppose Mario being in there will stir things up a bit more. Alex has to stay as well in that case.
Steph eviction interview was really awkward. I think she was very nervous and couldn't believe she was out. Davina was getting a bit shirty. Actually Davina was funny with the crowd too. I think she probably thinks she is getting too old for all that shit now. The money will be the only thing keeping her there.

I hate Alex but she seems to be doing what Charley did last year (i.e. be vile all week and then start to quieten down a bit for a couple of days before nominations). I think Sylvia's timing on disassociating herself from Alex is also cleverly timed (cynical ? Me ?)

Quite like Jen and Dale together - they're not going to perform any dual brain surgery together - but they're quite sweet
