I loved both seasons of Fame Academy. The contestants had to write songs in addition to performing them, and the top 5 in each year were seriously talented.

I'm not sure if it was on at the same time schedule wise but if was definitely about at the same time as Pop Idol because it was billed as the BBC's rival to it and Richard Park was the panto style Simon Cowell figure.

I remember during a charity run (comic relief or CIN can't remember which) Craig RH was one of the judges. Which seems incredibly random looking back.

I absolutely loved Fane Academy, and CW on the ITT equivalent. I’d totally forgotten the name of it though

Claudia on ITT was fantastic. Len used to try and teach her to dance and it was a hoot.

I used to love those episodes. Claudia would get her left and right muddled and it always ended up with Len shouting "RIGHT LEG FORWARD" 😆.

I loved her on ITT. I remember her refereeing a spat between Craig and Brendan when Craig stood accused of favouring Emma Bunton - she made it funny.

I still have this ITT 2009 highlights reel in my YT favourites because it always makes me laugh. The Len masterclass is at the 1:45 mark.

Urgh I wasted 2 votes…I was only half-watching as was cooking and don’t really like this Idols Week/more costumes nonsense. I thought someone on here said George and Alex were bottom so gave 2 to George and 2 to Alex as I didn’t think they deserved to be at the bottom. Whoops Alex wasn’t at the bottom at all. Could have given more to George and Balvinder! Yay I see Balvinder got through…how nice for her 😍
