Evening all, sorry paused the TV to gather snacks and drinks and I needed to have bothered. All the faffing at about at the start which I fast forwarded and I’ve already caught up.

Just realised they messed up on ITT last night, they saud "Rachel Zeigler will be with us on Saturday" (unless she is going to be all over it like Cynthia Enviro) - she will on tomorrow...

I thought he was Marc Bolan till they said :)

Stefan? He was ill but now he’s too injured to continue. He was next to Dani and they ignored her, oddly

That was good. Katyas dress was better plain like it was show on ITT the other evening

That was a really fun enjoyable routine. I enjoyed it a lot, Not terribly Johnny Cash though.

I felt that was like a routine from the old Seven Brides for Seven Brothers film.

It was ok. Don;t like this week cos unless they are dancing like the 'icons' then what is the point?

That was good other than the cringey speaking and guitar at the beginning. I’m assuming there’s going to be a lot of similar types of things tonight though!

My theory is that Claudia said she was leaving - she is going to get a chat show which will be on air when the Graham Norton show is off air apparently - and then the producers decided it was a good t8me to find two new presenters so Tess was effectively dropped and is leaving not if her own accord.

Tess does v little else on tv other than Strictly. Her star isn’t in the ascendancy like Claudia’s and she isn’t a legend like Bruce was. She will be on Blankety Blank and Celeb Big Brother and possibly an occasional Woman and Home type feature article but otherwise will be out to pasture.

I thought it was excellent. What a lovely, talented chap.

I thought Shirley was Danny from.Grease. I was confused.

Tess could have stayed. Obviously doesn’t want to do it without Claudia @Choux

I do like a good quickstep. That was a good one.

Also Claudia was great on radio 2. So if all else fails she can go back and be a regular there.

Tess will be a one show /morning live presenter. Maybe present a prime time quiz show

I thought Tess and Claud had always agreed to go together so if one is stepping away it makes sense the other would go too.

Wasn’t sure that would work for a quickstep but it did!

I expect Tess will move into an Amanda Holden/Davina McCall type series of host roles of inane quizzes and lifestyle programming.

This was my immediate reaction!

I think I’d retire.
