Posted something that I realized had no bearing on the time line of the Traitors that we are watching on screen 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️...

But...Paloma is 18 weeks pregnant !

(I stupidly forgot that she wouldn't have been pregnant while doing The Traitors !!
🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

OK I know I appear to be obsessed with Joe M and I am, however I have just found a clip of him appearing on Jonathan Ross with some team mates and really playing the fool. He even sang Someone Like You into a microphone. So they had met before.

JR's tentacles extend everywhere....

Well JR does have one of the, if not the, top chat show in the country. Joe M. will have met him due to contractual obligations for England or Harlequins but unlike the others, he clearly feels zero towards JR’s feelings or power in the industry and plays the game as it’s meant to be played. Shame the edit makes him look aggressive to some people though!

I’m hoping Joe either gets JR out, and is recruited or gets JR out and goes to the end. He won’t figure Alan (based on edit) so I don’t think he will win.

Hungrycaterpillarsmummy · 26/10/2025 07:43

Me prediction: they go for Alan over the shield forgetfulness

Missingducks · 26/10/2025 07:51

Have they revealed who the charities are they are playing for? Or would that be unfair on the murdered ones ... Eg 'oooh we at MissingducksHQ nearly won £100,000 but our celeb was murdered'.

No there has been no Charity reveal, the BBC usually do comic relief or Children in need don't they ? think it is individual charities for this.

CaveMum · 26/10/2025 08:55

I’m clinging to the hope that Lovely Nick’s face in the teaser trailer was because he saw Claudia rather than the Traitors 🙏🏻

I’m also hoping someone trips Jonathan up by asking him how he felt waiting by the chess board. He could forget he was supposed to be there as a potential murder candidate and deny all knowledge.

LittleYellowQueen · 26/10/2025 09:05

I think there's some truth in what Kate says. She's a journalist and she's been trained in her career for however many years to stay unbiased. She is struggling a lot but i don't think she's necessarily playing dumb - she just doesn't have the skills.

I think nick sees claudia when he turns around, and they've left his reaction to make you think he's the one who has been murdered. I hope so anyway. I want him to stay in.

I am finding it increasingly annoying as a programme. I think there is a flaw in the game if you don't identify any traitors. I know it's pointless as a faithful strategy as they just recruit, but it makes it so very samey as there is no change in the dynamics and no catharsis of a faithful 'win'. It's possibly a result of the very low stakes for the celebrities, it matters much less for them to win than to have their 'brand' tarnished.

I also feel really sorry for Nico and the young ones generally. I assume he was hoping for some mainstream cross over. But the established household names knifed him before we could get to know him.

I accept I may not be average viewer. My last unpopular opinion is thatvI love the camp missions and fast forward through the round table bit as I hate the baseless arguments.

I just watched Thursday's episode last night, so am very behind with adding my two pence worth, but I agree with your point about the flaw in the format. It's giving me flashbacks to last year.

They really aren't that interested in getting rid of Traitors! (with good reason) or at least haven't been until this point now. I also agree about the young ones being voted out, really quite boring of them all.

I think Jonathan Ross is bloody brilliant at this game! He might still be caught, but he's had a great run for his money. Same with Alan and Cat, of course, but JR has had the spotlight on him way more than them.

I know everyone loves Nick on here, but I think he was totally wrong to make a unilateral decision like that, as it's a team game in the tasks, and I hope it is his downfall. To me he comes across as even more smug than Sir Stephen.

Choux · 26/10/2025 09:50

I wouldn’t be surprised if they got all the potential murder victims to turn round several times trying to look sad, shocked and then relieved etc so they could use whichever fits the narrative they want in the cliffhanger. Then once they have got the footage they need they reveal if the player is safe or murdered.

I think it’s interesting that the departees are beginning to name Cat more regularly as a Traitor on uncloaked. That suggests to me that whilst the faithfuls have JR pegged as the most likely traitor, Cat is now in the mix. It will be interesting to see how she plays her next day.

Did anyone see Stephen Fry on Saturday Kitchen? He suggested that the game was originally thought up by an academic who posited that a small group of people with knowledge, would be successful against a larger group of people without the same information. Mafia and Werewolf came from this.

"I think it’s interesting that the departees are beginning to name Cat more regularly as a Traitor on uncloaked."

Surely that's because there's a very small pool of people left.

I agree. I’d liked Nick up until that point but I just don’t get why he did that.

Just being name checked on TV can bring awareness and potentially donations, especially to smaller charities that aren't household names so there would have been a benefit to the charities if players had said if I win the money will go to Pyjamas for Llamas.

Because I have time on my hands...

Can we guess from the expressions?

Lucy looks mega pissed off hiding under her scarf i wonder if she has seen jonathan and FFSing 😂

CarefulN0w · 26/10/2025 10:16

I think that whilst Nick’s strategising and theorising are logical, it will be his undoing. The Round Table is mainly emotional decision making. It’s why the master manipulators like Paul & Johnathon go a long way even when they are under suspicion. Likeable people with good people skills are categorised as faithful and quieter people like David are badged as traitors.

If Nick isn’t murdered, he is a strong candidate for banishment unless the Traitors choose their moment to turn on each other. It does make next week’s shows interesting though, which makes me very happy.

Joe M was so sweet on DIY sos on
Friday. Really genuine.

He was also a subject on Portrait Artist of the Year. Never heard of him before but he was absolutely lovely especially to the 16 year old lad who was one of the people who painted him. Cat was also on it but I assume they wouldn’t have met then because they filmed on different days.

WonderfulSmith · 26/10/2025 11:55

I don’t think Nick will be murdered because they know they need him for the tasks.

They don’t care about the tasks, yes it’s nice to make some money for charity but that’s not the reason these people are doing it… the only thing that might save Nick is his admission at the roundtable, which might make them decide to go out all guns pinpointing him as a traitor next time round (which will probably work)

RubieChewsDay · 26/10/2025 12:23

Just catching up as I couldn’t watch this week. I can’t believe we’ve finished week 3 with no traitors being found yet!

I think forgetting he had a shield should be Alan’s undoing but who knows if the remaining faithful can actually manage to not get sidetracked. I don’t think JR will make it past the final eliminations.

Hungrycaterpillarsmummy · 26/10/2025 14:38

I don't think it's nick because they purposely showed him gasping which I think is a bluff from the producers.

TakeMeToAnIgloo · 26/10/2025 15:02

If those on the chessboard see either Claudia or the traitors, then surely Jonathan will see Claudia at some point that night and know what she's wearing? I guess he might not know what the whole experience is like, though, and with two non-murdered faithfuls still there, he can't completely bluff it and say that things must have be different for different people. I wonder if Claudia/the production team will give him the experience as a way around that, or if they are secretly hoping that this will provide a way for him to be trapped - maybe even making it so that there are some clues that he wouldn't be able to guess, and the other two will know for sure if they compare notes.

Seasidewalker · 26/10/2025 15:04

It's maybe been discussed but I still don't understand why having had a tie with David and Mark and realising they banished a faithful, why have they just moved on? I know we know David is a faithful but they don't 🤔. I think Alan's shield gaff will sink him.

Celiathebanshee · 26/10/2025 15:10

I don't think I have ever seen traitors discuss ganging up to get somebody banished (I know there aren't so many usually, but you'd think it would come up as a strategy). I wonder if they are rushed in the turret so they only get to decide who to murder with no further plotting, or if we don't see it. I'd love to see them say let's murder x then let's all vote for y at the RT

Because they always move on! It's like there some amnesia potion in their bedtime cocoa
