This is my unpopular opinion too. Grace and Ash are not on the same level in terms of intellect. I don't think the experts ever bring that up but surely it is a crucial bit of whether you match with someone else. Ash is just a bit surface level with shit jokes. I can't bear April either. She's a bit rough and is all about the 'bants' with nothing interesting behind it. I am sure her and aash would be great together.

I'm with you on that, never warmed to April. Don't actively dislike her but I can still imagine her being trans too, no I don't want to start that all again, but it's because of the high femme, giggling silly stuff. See, I disagree with this- I think it's a class thing.
Ash is perfectly astute but he's not from an educated MC background.
Grace is articulate but she's incredibly posh- as are her friends- they all subscribe to the leftist ideologies that are de rigueur in these circles.
Ash is from a business background- much less likely to be around these "correct- thinking" people.
You see it on here all the time (Mumsnet being an overwhelmingly MC site)- this assumption that left wing is the only way the good people think.

But I agree that G and A are probably therefore an unsuitable pairing.
I think April's quite posh but she's way more down to earth than Grace, so might complement Ash. Suspect she's a bit more robust country girl than metropolitan idealist.

I hope they pair April and Ash together in the couple swap test, I think they'd get on so well, and I find it so uncomfortable watching couples try to make it work when they're so patently ill suited.

In every series of MAFS there is someone who gets a serielous case of cold feet. It is usually those who claim they're a perfect match early doors. Then it all goes to shit.
