It's been nice to see the normally invisible kids getting something to do. I just wish Nicola would shut up a bit. Is Carl the child that a woman had using Jimmy as a sperm donor? We saw her briefly then she decided to go to America or somewhere and dump the kid on Jimmy?

It's really awful what is happening in schools. Kids using their phones for bullying and sending explicit images. Some of the girls in my DDs year just don't care and are almost proud of the fact they are sending sexually explicit photos to boys (and often older boys/men) that they barely know. The first time it happened in my DDs year was in year 7. 11 years old FFS!

Kids really should be taught about how to use social media in the same way they are taught maths and English. Every parent should be checking their kids phones regularly.

I thought maybe Ray had arranged for someone else to impersonate Dman and take his driving test for him. It's yonks since I passed so I presume nowadays you'd have to show some sort of Photo ID.

People think that a lot of schools ban phones because kids are texting, watching videos or playing games in lessons. For us, it was the ‘upskirting’. A girl walks around the desks, a pupil with a phone takes photos, shares it round the class. Takes a couple of minutes. We had girls sharing photos of other girls they were bullying too. And this wasn’t a rough school by any means.

My son’s school has banned phones. They have to surrender them into lockable pouches
and they are unlocked only at the end of the day outside the school gates. Quite honestly I’m relieved. I work at primary level and the amount of phone issues with young kids is astonishing. Mine weren’t allowed them until they started secondary school and even then I was reluctant. However, it really only stops issues during the school day. It’s a bloody nightmare. I’m really glad that Emmerdale are covering this. I hope they show what can happen to kids in these situations and don’t minimise it.

Disappointed about Belle an Kammy being knocked on the head....begs the question why they bothered even starting the story.

I know where they should put Lewis - on the next bus out of Emmerdale.

He's beyond annoying, constantly eavesdropping, joining in conversations and offering unwanted advice.

If there was someone like that in our local cafe nobody would go in.

Exactly, or even move Emmerdale to ITV 2 or 3! Instead they’re showing decades old repeats of Heartbeat and Deal or No Deal.

I've noticed there are many different script writers so no wonder the constant changing and forgetting of story lines.

That explains why it's all so disjointed.

It also explains why Cammie looks 3 years older than Carl .

Yes, and I think they block book the cast, I know Corrie does. The only way it works is if the scriptwriters are in sync, which they’re clearly not.

I think there’s a lot of good writers and they get all the flack for the storyliners and producers!
