I think there's more to come about the ins and outs (ahem) of Robert and Kev's relationship so we can understand it. I think it is more a marriage of convenience which involved Robert being protected in prison.

On the subject of Kev’s money I meant to mention this before but 🐟 brain. How has Kev got so much money? He was in prison for armed robbery. If he had loads of money why did he do it? He seems like a man who enjoys the simple things like baking and threatening to murder people. Or did the authorities say oh it’s fine you can keep the money you robbed we’ll just lock you up forever?

It was confirmed when he had the heart attack and Robert mentioned his condition to the doctor who knew about it.

The money is questionable though and he kind of gave Robert the side eye in the hospital when he said and here’s me thinking you’re only with me for my money but because he makes really weird faces and gestures he’s hard to read.

I swear Robert talked about it being thousands when trying to justifying himself to Aaron. As in less than £100,000. Not six figures. Robert has priced himself far too low as less that £100k is just not worth it. When he was scheming Lawrence at least we all knew Lawrence was very very rich.
