I hope if the truth comes out Sarah sets off on a one way ticket to Australia and takes that twerp Jacob with her. I’m sick of the 2 of them.

Jacob and Sarah have zero chemistry as have most other couples on Emmerdale atm.

That episode was another unbelievable crock of shit.

I am so fed up with the April/Dylan/Ray/Celia stuff. Just go to the police or tell one of your many family members FFS

I’m not being snippy, just genuinely interested, but why do you all watch it if it annoys you so much?
I have found the April storyline to be quite interesting. I’ve worked in safeguarding all my life so I guess I’m aware of how easily young people can be sucked into this kind of situation.
Emmerdale is my 30mins post shower wind down. I’ve watched it for years!

I watch it because some storylines are good but for me and I think others, they drag on for too long. Belle and Tom for instance and this ongoing storyline with April. The comments on this thread are more entertaining than the programme though, especially if nothing happens in the episode or if a character annoys us etc then we can all share if they annoy us or not

Also, if I compare Debbie’s dementia storyline in Corrie which I think is being done well to the storylines in Emmerdale, I don’t think the storylines at the moment in Emmerdale are catching our attention, no matter how important they are

Can only speak for myself, and there'll be different reasons for others, but for me it's because I love to hate it, if that makes sense.

But I probably wouldn't bother if it wasn't for the commentary on here, particularly about the ridiculous and unfeasible storylines, many of which are so unrealistic as to be risible.

...and just to add: I dislike 'issues' storylines such as the one you refer to with April. I want light entertainment from my soap.

Agree with @TellingBone . I want to be entertained. Recently there have been no lighter storylines and if they try to do something lighter it usually involves some stupid zombie face off between Paddy and Marlon who are well past their sell by dates.

They focus on certain characters who blatantly can't act while others are sidelined and we never get to see their potential.

Kev has grown on me, he brings some much needed laughter. I still cringe every time he says Suggers though.

April's waivering, I think she'll tell someone soon or it will be the Christmas storyline as it has almost everyone involved (Moira and Cain via the farm, Paddy and Mandy via Dylan, Ross and Marlon via April, Laurel via her having the hots for Ray).

We still need John to come back, a face off between Kev and John could be interesting.
