Surely the organisers should have forseen this and posted on SM for spectators to get to Arthur Ashe by 6pm at the latest, to allow for delays the extra security checks are causing? Not that this should happen in the first place! Who gives a flying fuck about DT I sat virtually opposite Michelle Obama at the 2012 Olympics. No fuss there!
Players are used to delays throughout a tournament but this is the final of a Grand Slam. They should know exactly what time they will walk on court and their entire pre-match routine, eating etc is tailored to that time. Ffs!!!
