Casper struggles indoors though, Matteo is a bit better- so Casper needs to capitalise on the outdoor tournaments whilst he can to make the WTFs. He has said he is focusing on just ending the year well, even if that doesn't mean qualifiying for Turin.

It would be a big boost for Matteo to do well this week.

Matteo can get away with wearing anything but not sure about Casper (sorry Casper!) - brown and orange makes me think of 70s soft furnishing

DS2 is in Tokyo now - I told him about the tennis tournament but I think he’s got other plans (he is an Alcaraz fan though) - wish I was in Tokyo!

Everythng was orange and brown in the 70s .
And then my secondary school unifrom was brown.
It really is not a colour I have ever been a fan of.

I'd love to be in Tokyo. Although at least the sun has come out today, and the rain has stopped. (Having bloody awful hot flushes, so don't actually mind that it's cold ).

I've just seen that Neal Skupski is playing doubles in Beijing with John-Patrick Smith of Australia. I hope it's not a permanent split from Joe already- I think they were both (Joe especially) very after the US Open loss. They were moving in the right direction as a pair- but just couldn't get the win.

I never really understand the seemingly complex doubles partnerships - they do seem to move on quite quickly!

This is my ideal weather - blue skies and sunny but not too hot - I’m already having battles with DH about whether the central heating should be on - being a woman of a certain age saves on the heating bills!
