Shakespeare and Hathaway

Jo Joyner and Mark Benton will reprise their roles for series 5 of Shakespeare and Hathaway, alongside Patrick Walshe McBride (Dracula), who plays aspiring actor and perpetual understudy Sebastian Brudenell as filming is underway in the cobblestone streets of Stratford-Upon-Avon.

It’s been almost three years since we left Lu and Frank so it’s understandable that Joyner would be just a tad bit excited for the series to return. “I’m so excited to be stepping back into Luella’s bright and fluffy shoes!” said Joyner.

“We have such loyal and brilliant fans who have been asking us daily if we’ll ever be back, so it’s wonderful to finally be able to say yes! I can’t wait to see Lu, Frank and Sebastian cracking more countryside crimes whilst squabbling fondly in series 5.”

Equally as excited, Mark Benton added: “I’m so thrilled to be making the show again. The reaction was phenomenal and hopefully series five will be even better. I can’t wait.”

Oh yippee! Used to be BBC I thought? I’m going to be abroad for a while so will see if I can download to watch on the evenings I’m on my own. Off to investigate if Alibi has an app such as ITVX…

I don’t understand as s4 e10 all ended happily. She was going to USA but coming back via different airline and not leaving then as each other thought

all were happy

so why have they ended their company /Friendship ?

I have spent today watching the entire 10 episodes. I have no self control.
Now looking forward to ‘Sister Boniface’ and ‘Murder by Evensong’ love a bit of gentle murder mystery.

Love Shakespeare and Hathaway, cosy crime at its best. I found it was back by accident last night. I didn't get why they went their separate ways either, maybe it'll become clearer throughout the series.

Which tv app is it to watch on? Just tried U tv which is what Google told me

I’m only on paid for U. So sky tv or Now or something like that. Or you have to wait until BBC.
I checked the U app and old episodes are on but not the new. If I didn’t want to pay I would get free trial of Now tv and binge watch then cancel.🫣
