So, for us naughty ‘ binge watchers’ what do we think?
I’ve seen two so far and been able to pretty much predict a lot of it.
After a very good tense first episode, it’s going down hill fast and Fran’s trout pout acting is driving me mad! It is only four episodes, so not that long.

Have watched all and the last episode just concluded everything incredibly quickly - it was like reading chick lit where you've enjoyed a book and it's plot for 280 pages and then the author has suddenly realised they have to finish and tie everything up in next 20 pages.

I thought it was a based on a book by Frieda someone , but it’s not. It looks like some covers of her books with the stairs and so on. It does feel a mash up of other stories.
I plowed through episode two and found it so formulaic after a pretty good start. The acting isn’t too bad.

First 2 episodes were alright. The last 2 were absolute trash and had so many plot holes! Why go to so much effort to groom drug mules fgs??!

As if that man in the lockup would send those memory sticks / flash drives to her in a neat envelope. Did she know she’d be still staying with her friend at that time in her panic to get away! ?
Micheal’s sister had his phone all unlocked. Surely the police wouid have it for the investigation into his death ? How did Ria know the passcodes and so on for the crypto currency ? ( I’m not techy , so I know that is probably me just not knowing this stuff!)
I did enjoy some of it , but she ran off in the middle of nowhere and got back alright after being force fed the drugs with water and it wasn’t explained how.

I was incredulous that the man in the lockup sent the flash drives back to her ! As if

I’ve no prior knowledge of recruiting drug mules but it seemed a pretty complicated way of doing ig if you ask me

Where are the drug mules now? Did Richard bump them all off?!

I really enjoyed it. Loved seeing all the locations in Cardiff. Also, loved Fran's clothes. I was wondering too about how far Rhia would get after the drugged water!

I'm wondering if there was Mumsnet references in there? I picked up on Naice Ham (Fran's sister) and AIBU about being annoyed with children in Business class (Richard) Am I making links that aren't there, or did anyone else pick other ones up?

There was also when the sister (Helen) told Fran to stop what she was doing, people were noticing, not be embarrassing etc and Fran told her to fuck off. I thought that was very MN!

I enjoyed it but yes, there were daft bits that we had to swallow.

Who crashes out in their best friend's bed, pissed, with their BF's partner, but takes her necklace off and doesn't put back on in the morning?

Does anyone know who Ria saw in the guest house when she was first looking round? Someone was twitching the curtain.

Who tried to get in when Ria was in the bath?

She had the crypto code from the back of the photograph of Mike and Alice.

DH and I liked spotting all the actors from Stella and Gavin and Stacey. Good fun.

Also, did anyone else get fairy tale vibes? Bluebeard's tower with the locked room with a dangerous secret, and the huntsman (Fran) letting Rhia go while clasping the knife?

So did Derek know what was happening - he warned her in ep1 to get out and there was mention of all the girls? Did they torture the missing daughter in the cellar?

Also I didn't understand the Antwerp bus station relevance??

I was amazed Ria was able to join the dots with the what 3 words, lock up, security entry code, crypto codes.

Really enjoyed it though as long as you didn't worry too much about the plot holes 😊

The Antwerp bus station was based on misreading the third of the three word location clue. Once she had the right third word she knew the location it referenced was the storage place.

It didn't make a lot of sense, but I enjoyed it.

Fun to watch but a load of tripe!! Def reminiscent of many trashy thrillers like McFadden. .

The storage location was a hard one to get your head around ! I’m glad I’m not the only one who didn’t understand how she discovered the location based on those words.
The young creepy man wouldn’t have returned those memory sticks in real life, unless she offered him money I suppose!

I quite enjoyed it. I live in Cardiff but grew up in Swansea, so I knew all the locations - we even used to have a storage unit in that building, and we can see the big white water tower by the sister's house from our upstairs windows (it's known as the Water Balloon, but we can only see the top bit so my son grew up calling it the Ball on the Mountain). The last episode was all very far-fetched and the conclusion glossed over a lot of details, but it was good fun!

Enjoyable nonsense, wasn't it? I loved the house porn and Fran's clothes.

I also think Gabrielle Creevey is a very appealing actress. Helped me ignore all the ludicrousness.

I enjoyed it, better than than channel 5 and itv thrillers. Ria could do with laying off the Botox, she had one expression the entire time! Enjoyable nonsense .

Did you mean Fran? Ria is the cleaner. Didn't look Botoxed.

I enjoyed it a lot, the locations, Rhossili (I always wanted to holiday let that house, it's National Trust?) the beautiful faces of the two lead women. But left with lots of questions and plot holes..what happened to Annie?

I know, I mean Ria, her face didn't change expression at all.

Okay, I’m halfway through episode two and I don’t think I can carry on. It’s so bad. There’s no tension and then it tries to force drama on you with some big dramatic music/sound effect that comes out of nowhere. But there’s no feeling it. It’s just a bit too corny. The girl playing Ria is very good though.
