In other news Kyle Edmund is retiring (in case anyone had been wondering about him) - he did have a good run a few years ago but has had a lot of injuries I think

I’ve just seen that Casper is her partner Jane - I’ve no idea how these partnerships came about (at first I thought it was Holger which I don’t think would have gone well!)

Such a shame for Kyle. He seemed quite emotional in his video. No.14 in the world 7 years ago and then injuries and operations since.

Hope Jannik will be ok. I was going to start watching about 8.40pm, checked the scores first and saw it was all over!

Well done to Iga- I didn't get to watch, but at least Jasmine won some games and it doesn't look like it was a totally one sided match. I hour 50 minutes ish is a fairly lengthy Iga match, for a straight sets win!

No, Dan was seeded aswell but Lloyd Harris was one of the tougher players in the draw. He'll lose points, having got to the 3rd round last year!

So poor Katerina gets bumped again, now that Jannik is out of the doubles. Replaced by Christian Harrison and Danielle Collins. What an insult.

Apparently, Vavassori said in the on court interview that he and Errani were playing for all the doubles players that were not allowed to play the exhibition event.

It really is rubbish all around.

However much I love to watch Lore or Casper - it's appalling that players of their level stand to win almost ten times the amount the Mixed pairings usually win.

I thought that- until it got to 4-4 in the first set of the last match, and Lore /Caty won it 5-3 .

So - I'm guessing - it's first to 4 - by a margin of 2. Or else 5?

Actually that makes, no sense.

I don't know they must have got to 3 - 4 .
