Cant see much info about this, and short posting on C4 web site doesn't give much away.

Although story line seems a bit like every other one.

But who knows? Could be okay.

Compared to most tv series at the moment which are just rubbish (imo)

This was "okay".

As usual the lead character has a particular issue, and predicatably a problem with authority. And women - sigh.

But I think I am more forgiving of these tropes when the surroundings are so lovely. Filmed in Puglia.

Seems that nobody else has watched this.

It is certainly an improvement on the increasing old fashioned and dated Montalbano.

Interesting plot lines.

And not a lot of violence depicted for anyone who dislikes the over top need of some dramas to drag out in gory detail violent crimes.

I think towards the end, maybe the personal story line got a bit in the way, but suspect that was partly in the hope of a second series.
