I thought they did say that. I was expecting the doctor to say it was probably implantation bleeding but she didn’t. Regardless, it’s all bloody nonsense.

Charity did say he had had a fall and had bled .And she said she had been drinking.

The doctor just shrugged as said ..ohh well not ideal ..don't do it again..baby will be fine this early...or something like that.

Am I right in thinking IVF pregnancies have the dates pretty much accurate ?

As in they know how many weeks a pregnancy should be rather than a normal pregnancy where there can be valid discrepancies of cycles changing .??

Yes I agree. It would be very accurate. And in real life the embryo would be implanted during a live scan to direct it to the perfect spot. There would be no chance of not noticing another embryo if it had arrived on the scene first.

But then this is Emmerdale and they’re not always good at researching their storylines.

Before we were told she’d slept with Ross, I assumed she’d go for her scan and it would show the baby to be x weeks older than the implant date, so it would definitely be Mack’s - now however, I think it will be a dna diagnosis later down the line. So I guess 3 possible baby daddies 🤷‍♀️

Exactly. I’ve seen this on a medical programme, it’s amazing and fascinating.

Charity had already had tests and bloods etc prior to implementation, to see if she was likely to be a potential carrier, so they would have shown up a pregnancy. But as you say, this is Emmerdale, and when have facts ever mattered.
