mine would be the Moon family but not Daphne.

Not the characters so much but the acting of the Weasley twins and Ginny in the HP films.

I'm sure there were thousands of young actors competing for those roles and the best they could come up with was children so wooden and lacking in personality and emotions it looked like a chair had been thrown on set.

I wasn’t too keen on Ted from How I Met Your mother. Annoying, whiny, manipulative, fickle, bordering on narcissistic.
Everybody goes on about great Chummy was in Call the Midwife but I hated her and I’m glad she’s gone. I hate the awkward, stupid, bumbling, thick-as-shit slapstick sort of characters that Miranda Hart plays, just not my idea of funny.
Emily on Friends nearly made me stop watching.
Not a show I watched but have you ever heard the character played by Arianna Grande on the kids sitcom Sam and Cat? My daughter used to watch it but her fucking voice made me want to hack my ears off with a penknife for relief.

Do you mean Amy Acker who played Root? I personally love Amy and that character! But I’ve met her in real life and she was an absolute sweetheart, so it makes it harder to dislike any character she plays.

Sue in Sooty, Sweep and Sue. Bossy little fucker.

She was the only one that could speak English - she had to sort shit out because the rest were squeaky or just mute..

Pauline in Benidorm. The one with the fake South African accent. Having lived in SA I found it very cringeworthy. Surely they could have found a South African to play this part.

Adrian Pimento in Brooklyn 99 - just horrible. And in fact, same show, when Gina Linetti left, we almost gave up on it because we loved her character so much

Karen in Wiil and Grace. How anyone can put up with her addressing everyone as 'honey' in that nasal whine is beyond me. The show itself may well have been awful anyway I couldn't watch it.

Anyone who was trying to step in to Michael’s role in the US version of The Office.

I think that was the joke but it dire.

I agree with OP about the Moons. Simon was just awful. The mum was annoying.

I think the demise of Coronation St started with the terrible Connor family.

Meredith in Grays I did stop watching couldn’t stand her.

If they started recasting the HP kids for wooden acting there wouldn't be many of the original cast left!

One of the first ever FB groups i joined, back when it was only open to uni students was called "I hate susan myers" and nearly 20 years later someone new occasionally finds it and posts a rant 😁

Mandy in the West Wing. So so annoying. Omg SO annoying. Thank god they wrote her out after season 1 (definitely persevere if you haven’t got to this point yet!).

Nicole Ari Parker. I fast forward her character's sub plot in AJLT because they are as dull as she is exquisitely beautiful.

Lincoln in Prison Break was so annoying it made the show unwatchable for me and I kept hoping they would finally execute him!
