As I say, this is the countdown to the end, now we're in the last week of the series. I think it finishes on 4th Aug... Just over a week away.

No clear winner(s) at the moment really, quite a few unlikeable contestants, and lots of arguments and discord! I'm almost looking forward to this series ending to be honest! 😆

I think she'd have watched. But it's irrelevant anyway as we know the reason she's pulled back from Mug is as she knows her and Mustard aren't being perceived in a good light. I would have respected her if she'd admitted this in a roundabout way, rather than all her bollocks about not wanting to get involved in things that didn't concern her... as that's all she ever did when she was in there!

I think someone else said as well but Shakira has those puppy dog eyes when she's looking at Harry, she has the feels for sure and is going to get her heart broken very soon.

As much as I've enjoyed this series, I'm glad it's over soon, it always feels that it goes on a little too long towards the end!

Last night was maddening.

Blu was more of a prick than ever. Complete shit stirrer and toad. I also picked up on the irony of him calling Toni a 'pick me' girl when sat next to Helena.

Meg - very manipulative. Trying to put a guilt trip on Harry and Meghan both and then acting all sorry when it made Meghan cry. Just leave her alone! The line about how excited Meg was when Meghan came back in was so manipulative.

Cach - I worry he's getting put off by all the in-fighting.

Dejon - just dreadful. Does the whole 'I thought we were friends' thing and 'lets end this divide!' when he's one of the worst offenders.

I don't like the way Angel just follows Meg and Helena around. IMO she's hitched her wagon to the wrong horse.

Of course she was watching .
And she will have replayed all episodes to know how it was edited and how she was edited.
She will have checked Conor’s dating interests.
Id be very surprised if she hasn’t checked all of their social media presence and media reporting too.

I took Shakira saying that to mean that, naturally, she would put Meg and D for most of the negative ones because she doesn’t like them, but knows she can’t really do that without it seeming like a pile on, so she was saving their names to only use once.

On the tongue thing, there’s a very popular meme/GIF of a girl crying and then when the camera pans away she smiles and sticks her tongue out, then goes back to crying. It seemed like a recreation/reference of that to me - like yes it’s not an ideal situation but obviously I’m happy deep down that he’s chasing me.

Unless Megan lived on Mars whilst she was out, I'd say she has absorbed every bit of information she could glean. She will know that her previous approach of getting stuck into everyone's business and being a bit gobby didn't go down so well. I'm sure she is really trying to reign it in and can also see that there is nothing to be gained from getting overly involved in "the divide"!

I'd imagine Megan was very busy after coming out of the villa and hasn't seen everything.
Also I took her comment to mean that even if she had seen some of the tv shows she knows it is edited and she wasn't there to see the full reality of it.

I did think Shakiras comment about saving Meg & D for the worst one revealed a lot about her, she is quite calculating.

I'm getting a bit bored with Yas and Jamie.

I don't think Cach is feeling it with Toni, Billykiss was lovely and they would have been a really nice together. I understand the producers wanted to keep Toni for the drama though.

Thought D & Harry were too happy telling Conor about Megan, liked that Conor could see through it though.

Not keen on Blu but liked that he stood up to Toni and I actually agreed with his points. I think a lot of people are scared to say anything to her.

I think Megan and Conor seem well matched and their communication last night was mature and it was a lesson in class from Conor.

I would love to see it work but I’m not convinced Toni and Cach are going to last as she’s already been unreasonable expecting his family to greet her with open arms.

I’d like to see Toni & Cach, Yas & Jamie and Megan & Conor in the final three. Meg & Dejon need to be on their way now. It was horrible seeing Megan cry last night because of both of them essentially.

Those boys last night were determined to bring a decent guy (Conor) down to their level - and break a promising couple (who could make the final few couples). So glad they both rose above it and can see them for what they are. Ironically, it’s had the opposite effect for me and just made Conor and Megan go up massively in my estimations.

Also, Harry, Mr Serial Monogamist himself, on his high horse about Megan’s apparent betrayal of Conor with Tommy? “We need to speak to Con.” 😆

Ps I hate to admit it but I laughed at Ian explaining what a Yasmin’s books were to the Islanders: “Like a TikTok, but longer.”

Right - and D has everything to gain from her being unpopular, hence his stirring with her. It’s good that she’s been more even handed and typical that M&D can only see their own angles.

Definitely. Her contract probably says she has to be available between certain dates but they’d still
have to make sure she was willing to go back in. There have been contestants in previous years who haven’t fulfilled parts of their contract for aftersun interviews and reunions.

How rubbish was edit last night with the talent show?
They got the text and the next scene was everyone walking out in their costumes!

Not one conversation/ chat in there, that is shown with mustard piping up is organic.

I’m still confused about D asking Meghan why she didn’t have Meg’s back in the challenge but then in the same conversation said to Meghan that he doesn’t expect her to take sides?! Make it make sense!! He absolutely is expecting her to take sides!! It’s so manipulative.
Really sorry if this has been mentioned before but apparently there have been loads of ofcom complaints about bullying on this series.

Harry isn't a people pleaser, he's a Harry pleaser. Shakira is tanking herself by tying herself to him. Her poor mum said the other day that she'll be there to pick up the pieces - she knows what's coming!

Exactly this... he's only a people pleaser in the sense he tells girls/people what they want to hear in order to get what he wants/keep them onside, so they in turn please him 🙄

To be fair what was Meghan supposed to say ?
It’s 50/50 regarding the divide depending on which social media platform you’re looking at?
Even on here there’s strong Meg and D supporters who jump on every post with even the mildest criticism.

It will be interesting to see if the dynamics change following Blu’s revelation
that (from what he’s seen online) Toni, Yas and Shakira are loved by the public and Meg et al are seen as the mean girls. D looked genuinely shocked by this news.
He sent Meg after Meghan when she went inside upset. Meg wasn’t going to go! Then Meg was so manipulative when she was saying “we were all so excited to see you back in the villa” almost like a guilt trip that Meghan had disappointed them. Poor Meghan just kept apologising, it’s just a social battleground and really quite toxic.
We didn’t get to see any aftermath from it though as the text came through about talent night then it went straight in to that.
Tonight’s episode is going to be really interesting.

Im afraid she genuinely likes him. Poor girl. At least Helena was playing the game and is bitter about ‘losing Harry’ to Shakira. Poor Shakira actually likes him. I think he isn’t the type of person she would come into contact with on the outside world and she seems infatuated with him. She’s young as well. Harry is going to be inundated with offers from
women when he comes out. I am glad Shakira’s has her mother’s support when he breaks her heart.

Perhaps he'll ask Yas and Toni if that threesome is still on the table 🤔🤣
