As I say, this is the countdown to the end, now we're in the last week of the series. I think it finishes on 4th Aug... Just over a week away.

No clear winner(s) at the moment really, quite a few unlikeable contestants, and lots of arguments and discord! I'm almost looking forward to this series ending to be honest! 😆

I find Megan hard to understand as she talks so fast. Mustard enjoying making trouble for others he’s a total prick

Dejon and Harry really are a bit evil. At least the others are beginning to see it now. So blatant!

Blu will come to regret going back in won't he. Glad that Toni didn't rise to his attempts to press her buttons.

I actually felt a bit sorry for Megan tonight then the cynic in me questioned whether this was a ploy by the producers to set Conor and Megan up for the win 😂

I don't get Harry at all.

He doesn't seem to care about anyone at all in there. He won't stick with Shakira when he gets out. He'll be after any and every woman. I feel for Shakira because I think she genuinely likes him and wants to believe him and her youth and inexperience with his type will end with heartbreak.

Well his mum owns a sex shop which could be classed as Blue 🤣

He is a horrible man. The way he was laughing, the way he was speaking to Toni and Shakira, his meddling with Megan. Calling Toni a pick me when not one person has picked him.

I'm sure all the contestants have to complete psychological assessments before entering. The producers know he is horrible and that is exactly the reason they put him in for a second time.

Some of these criticisms of people are way over the top.

My dd is in Europe now too, working on a cruise ship in / around the Greek Islands.
She very excitedly told me on Sunday that she had subscribed to ITVX so she could watch Love Island, and I know she has since watched episodes on her iphone.

The manipulation from Meg and D was off the scale tonight. Asking Harry why he didn't have Meg's back, while she insults the girl he's with. Asking Meghan until she cries why she doesn't offer her opinion. Interfering in her and Conor's relationship. At least he's got the measure of them now. Was very satisfying seeing him warn Megan about their oh so convenient "heads up".

I think Blu's role was to come in with the outside goss about public perception and tell D they're not well-liked. The pies and falling over are just a bonus.

I don’t particularly dislike Harry. As PP have said he hasn’t been rude or aggressive to anyone and has taken most of the criticisms in challenges without any real pushback. The people pleasing thing makes sense to me.

He hasn’t called out Dejon and Meg and I think a lot of people would have. It was outrageous of Meg to say he hasn’t had her back when she spent all of The Grafties slagging him off and didn’t speak to him or comfort him in the aftermath. I’m not saying that she should have but she didn’t have his back either.

I also found it surprising that he didn’t speak up for Shakira. Meg told Shakira that she didn’t like her and then when Shakira said that she tried to be civil to Meg but didn’t like her either, Meg immediately reverted to type and became the victim again. She’s deluded! I can’t listen to Meg without hearing Gareth from The Office now - all that passive aggression and whiny “Poor me.”

I also wondered whether Harry went along with speaking to Connor about Megan because Connor had called him out for not being honest
about flirting with Shakira. Maybe Harry didn’t want to be accused again of holding something back?

The people pleasing thing also makes sense re the whole Helena debacle. I do think he was talked into recoupling with Helena and then found it difficult to extricate himself. It also explains why he says one thing and does another.

I’m not excusing any of his behaviour towards the girls in general but looking at things in the wider context he seems to be a confrontation avoider which is ironic given how much he’s caused.

I really dislike Blu but it’s interesting that Mustard has picked up that Megan is trying not to get involved in the drama and is less mouthy and aggressive since her return. Blu said that Meg and Helena are perceived as the mean girls didn’t he? I wonder if that was why we saw Mustard’s charm offensive in the Talent Show?

Blu is obsessed with Toni. Ironic to call her a Pick Me girl when he’s coupled up with the one of the biggest Pick Me girls in LI history! (My auto correct just changed Pick Me to Pork Me 🤣)

Have not watched LI from the beginning do have missed a bit but Blu is coming across to me as nasty. Did Toni reject him earlier? He seems to be doing everything he can to get back at her and he absolutely can't stand it that he's so unimportant to her that she just doesn't care what his opinion is. Why would he think his pov is significant? He's not been there for a chunk of time and is totally irrelevant.

iI like Harry - can't help it. But he was very wet in not defending himself or Shakira to Meg.
D has got his eye on the prize - that 25K is tantalisingly close. It's time they all stopped pretending they are friends now - glad Connor could see through the stirring but I'm not sure Megan has, even with the warning. It was terrible that Meg and D made her cry, for essentially saying something that's true.

The families should stay off the TV and SM - if any of these relationships do work out, their stirring won't be helpful.

I've gone right off Shakira. I mean Mustard and MyMug are my least favourite couple, but even still, I didn't like the way Shakira didn't write their names in the couples challenge at first because "I don't want to use that bullet yet, save that for a good one". She's enjoying crucifying them far too much. Also didn't like her poking her tongue out the other day when she was asked about getting back with Harry. It was in a "ner, ner, I've won" way which is totally pathetic especially since the 'prize' is a man-child, who at 30 years old still doesn't really know what he wants, bar smelly armpits, and has zero loyalty to anybody.

I don’t know why Meg, Dejon and co haven’t appreciated that Megan was voted out as least popular girl.

Surely they can appreciate that being confrontational clearly didn’t work for her first time around so why would she repeat her mistakes?

Meghan, unlike the others has faced the consequences of her actions.

With regards for her not telling them what opinions were in the outside world I’m willing to bet production pick and choose what they are allowed to say.

Also, why would she be watching nightly. I bet it was a bit of a kick in the teeth watching everyone have fun without her. I’d probably be at Tape myself (no idea where it is mind you)

Also, had Megan said "yes, I've watched it and I'm seeing things from another point of view now" I would have liked her a whole lot more. Instead, she's pretending she hasn't watched it and that the reason she's pulling away from Megan isn't as she's got her eye on the prize so wants to avoid conflict, especially any that upsets the public's favourites 🙄

Oh I absolutely guarantee she was. These are people she spent weeks with 24/7. She'd be far more hooked than we are, plus she'd want to see if her name came up at all.

I doubt if she was watching. She was doing brand trips and stuff while she was out. And it's very rare that they show islanders talking about dumped islanders beyond the "cheers to X, they'll be missed" toast they do.

Wow, Mustard manipulating on a whole other level last night. Definitely trying to throw a spanner in the works for Conor and Megan and stirring shit between Megan and Meg. He (Mustard) is such a handsome man with such an ugly inside.

Harry & Shakira make me want to barf. There is something about the way that Shakira is constantly looking at him in that simpering way that is completely icking me out.

Blu is weird and unpleasant too. Not sure what is going on there, but he shouldn't have been brought back.

Cach dancing - OMG! He continues to go up in my estimation. The look of pure joy on his face too whilst he was dancing - just a pleasure to watch.

I am convinced that the producers twisted Yaz's arm up behind her until her spine cracked to make her do that exclusive speech. Both she and Jamie seemed really uncomfortable and whilst they clearly get on well, it felt like they had been forced into that.

Conor also remains high in my estimation. That lad has his wits about him and I thought dealt with the bullshit bollocks from the twisted trio of shit stirrers really well. He had a sensible proportionate conversation with Megan and then told her to be wise with her reaction to it all! Smart man.

What am I going to do next week with my 9pm slot!!!!! 😬

Agreeing with @Picoloangelassessment again except I didn’t find D’s talent show to be much of a charm offensive. Enjoying bossing the group around while doing little himself felt as unappealing and self-regarding as ever to me. As someone said, that pair truly lack any self-reflection capability. All she can think of is her own wants and needs, and expects others to toe the line or be upbraided, and his cogs are working overtime on the competition. So brazen the attempt to stir shit with Connor and Megan and good for Connor seeing through it. Megan was right anyway. Meg does boot off any threats. If she can’t even own that, there’s no hope of any evolution/redemption for her.

Blu will hopefully go asap in the first cut tonight. He’d be pitiful if he wasn’t so toxic. At least he got his viral moment with the fall.
