As I say, this is the countdown to the end, now we're in the last week of the series. I think it finishes on 4th Aug... Just over a week away.

No clear winner(s) at the moment really, quite a few unlikeable contestants, and lots of arguments and discord! I'm almost looking forward to this series ending to be honest! 😆

You can see that no-one in the villa was actually genuinely pleased for them it was a real anti climax when they announced it. Cach (mainly for him) and Toni to win.

I agree 100%. As soon as they are out the villa she will be sniffing round him again.

I wonder what his mom thinks of all the sexual innuendos Ian Stirling keeps making. Surely she has a right to make a formal complaint and with a bit of luck get him cancelled ! Helena reminds me of his Wife Laura Whitmore

I think the editing was careful not to show too much fall out before the vote tbh. I also agree that things will likely kick off tomorrow but guessing it'll be between the girls again unfortunately.

I checked out the LI official FB page this evening and didn't expect there to be so much negativity towards Shakira. Someone mentioned that Meg was getting a lot of hate online but it seems to be directed equally towards Shakira. I was also surprised by a lot of the positive comments for Helena - I can only guess that a lot of these positive comments for Helena are coming from people who haven't watched the whole show from the beginning!

Team Yas & Jamie BUT I nearly voted Shakira & Harry because, as much of a div as Harry is, I want them to stay this week as it seems there is beef stirring with the old 'best mates' and I want to see it unfold.

Harry is a monster, but Mustard & Mug boil my blood. In my ideal World, they'd be gone tomorrow.

Toni’s mum was lovely.

Cach’s family seemed lovely too, but gave me ‘I just don’t know what to say’ vibes. I think they would forgive her if it did work, but they’re probably thinking it won’t last, as she doesn’t even live in the country, so we’ll just keep it moving and see what happens.

Dejons family explains it all. And quite frankly, Meg will be isolated and calling her own sister ‘jealous’ of her relationship if she’s not careful.

Also, talking about how manipulative everyone feels about Dejon, and how he’s stage managed every part every week of his couple, I was also reminded earlier of him telling Billykiss she wanted her 15 mins of fame.

Meg has made loads of snidey, bitchy comments. If anyone can't take it, it's her, IMO. She goes mad at every perceived slight, unless of course it's from her twat of a partner who can apparently do no wrong.

I really don't think Shakira or Toni give a shit what Meg thinks, to be honest.

Every Shakira/Harry kiss is a jumpscare and should come with a helpline phone number.

Helena raised in a family with a bit of a sleaze for a dad and a bit of a pushover for a mum makes a lot of sense.

Harry absolutely loved being called a villain.

Dejon with the totally surprising last week love declaration, meanwhile Meg doesn't know how many brothers and sisters he has. Glad it went down in the villa like a lead balloon. No vibes, no chemistry.

Meg in the challenge making out like she's everyone's bestie despite sniping about Shakira for half her time in the villa. The Toni trio aren't delusional or desperate enough to pretend they're besties with people they don't get along with. Meg is infuriating to watch because her actions don't match her high opinion of herself, like D's actions in their so-called relationship never match his 'I love you, you're my girlfriend, you're beautiful inside and out' script recital.

She could have learned something about herself from this experience by being open and honest, by exploring connections instead of fixing herself to the Day 1 guy. The only time I've felt her real reactions was when she was getting aggy with the Tape woman Malisha, who D fancied. Since then, she's opted for the simpering fiction of her being so nice to everyone, about how everyone's so jealous of her and her phoney Day 1 boyfriend she still knows naff-all about. I've never seen a more disingenuous pair than her and D. Family day was just the start - I think she'll be coming out to a lot more hard truths on the outside, and maybe even sooner if the islanders are set to return.

Helena’s parents baffled me. I’m sure that they are very pleasant, friendly people. Probably good people to have as your neighbours. But…bloody clueless.

They’ve just watched their own daughter be hurt and humiliated repeatedly by a man and they let him off the hook. Not one ounce of “Harry is a prick and you deserve so much better”. I don’t expect her parents to confront Harry but not even a “You’ve been awful to our daughter and we would appreciate you being more respectful in the remaining days”. Nothing. Just jokes about dicks on sleeves and being a loveable villain.

In those few, short minutes it all became clear. Helena struggles to defend her boundaries because her own parents haven’t got her back. I know that she is a grown woman but she is still their daughter. With Wet Wipes for parents.

The past couple of episodes have pissed me off.

Harry’s mum enabling his shitty behaviour and Helena’s parents being so passive to Harry about what he did. I would be raging if my daughter was treated that way not laughing with the prick about it.

Harry gets away with murder and then laughs about it with his villain comment.

Shakira also getting stuck straight back in there with Harry after making out she was going to make him work for it. BIG SIGH.

Also so predictable that Dejohn dropped the L bomb, he’s trying to follow the winners playbook.

You can definitely see where Helena gets her affable enabling behaviour from. Her parents were the exact same. Have a bit of a chuckle, make a slightly rude comment and pretend nothing has happened!!!!!!! Helena's parents should have dressed Harry down and asked him to apologise properly for his shabby and disrespectful behaviour towards their daughter. And Helena continues to embarrass herself by rewarding Harry's shockingly awful behaviour with her continued friendship. There is something very wrong with her.

Shakira has clearly had some kind of brain transplant or has developed Stockholm Syndrome. Harry is sooooooooooooooooooooooo loathsome. What is wrong with her.

Mug and Mustard are the most depressing couple on there I think, because she is such a dumb chump and he is so manipulative. I think I dislike him more than Harry because Harry is an out in the open cad, who makes no attempt to disguise or justify his poor behaviour. Mustard is pious and has a "holier than thou" attitude that is so hypocritical. He is a dangerous man.

I think Conor and Megan are well suited and could see them lasting on the outside. I like the Jamie and Yaz combo too. Not sure about any of the others. I like Cach very much but I'm not sure Toni is grown up enough for him yet.

Conor and Megan are vulnerable with a public vote because friends and family in Ireland can't vote for them. I do think they are a nice enough couple although she can be a bit annoying. He seems to have a bit of class and maturity about him that is rare in boys that age and rarer still in that arse cheek bedecked villa. Their families seemed pretty happy for them.

I am only noticing how dim Meg actually is. Her 'chats' are just word salad riddled with grammatical clangers and no substance. Her Mum spoke exactly the same way.

Harry still making me want to vomit. Wish Shakira's family had been more ardent in their criticism. Does Shakira ever wonder what the situation would be if the Grafties hadn't happened?

A few things came to mind earlier…
Shakira and Harry somehow look gross together, like she is a new puppy and he is trying to train her.
Remember when Toni and Shakira said about 30 year old Helena kissing Harrison- ‘what would a 30 year old want with a 22 year old?’
but that logic doesn’t seem to apply to 22 year old Shakira and 30 year Harry!

or how about her crying melt down calling the boys manipulative ants when they dared to say Harry could get her back… well they were right all along!

or what about ‘baby steps’ with Harry yet she is kissing his face off in bed and stroking him within 24 hours?

I just don’t get the Shakira hype!!

Just musing out loud here but I was not a Harry fan when he went in. Could not see the attraction at all but now we have got to know them all a bit more I can see his positive qualities. Yes maybe surface charm but I don’t think we have heard him be aggressive or rude or put anyone down. So he seems mild mannered. He sees the best in people and is self effacing . Very aware of his own faults. Intense and beautiful green eyes. If he fixes his attention on you it feels like you are the special one ? As his mum said he is a people pleaser and that’s why people like him ?
