I know I probably will, but will be trying my best not to...

I am so glad that complete twunt has gone.

MARGOsBeenPlayingWithMyNooNoo · 27/05/2008 22:05

I like Karen Brady

wrinklytum · 27/05/2008 22:07

LOL at "I'm more Jewish than you are" from Trevor Nelson

KayHarker · 27/05/2008 22:08

CantSleepWontSleep, yeah I thought it might

foxinsocks · 27/05/2008 22:09

I thought he was leaning towards getting rid of Helene or both of them but I am SO relieved Michael has gone. I don't think I could see that wobbly bottom lip and dum dum look again without screeching.

I LOVE the way he always picked up what Sralun said and just regurgitated it every week. So beforehand he was a nice Jewish boy, today he was a young man with potential lol!

sophiewd · 27/05/2008 22:18

Go Margaret

UnquietDad · 27/05/2008 23:20

Lucinda in glasses. Yum.

Did she sell any raffle tickets? I must have missed that bit?

I loved Charlie Brooker's spot about her being "a bit too aromatherapy" in the Grauniad this week.

UnquietDad · 28/05/2008 08:22

Hated the car-worship in this episode though. All that revving and vrooming left me cold, and I thought the people prepared to pay 2k for a one-day ride in one were just twunts.

I could see where Michael was coming from his his bewilderment/lack of interest.

Botbot · 28/05/2008 08:32

Yep, that's the one thing that made me warm to him a bit ? he didn't start slavering the minute those cars arrived like the rest of them did.

PinkPussyCat · 28/05/2008 11:28

Sooo glad Michael has been fired at last. He looked defeated before he'd even started on that task. And what happened to 'Oh, I can fake passion over anything'?

Reckon it's Helene's turn next...

What do you all think of Alex? I think there is something very 'downbeat' about him, a bit sullen or something. A bit too fond of 'eye rolling' and sighing about the others' efforts. Cheer up man!

idlingabout · 28/05/2008 11:56

Alex is very crafty and manipulative. The panelist on 'You've been fired' had it right when she said Alex was winding Lee up against Lucinda and ensuring she got sidelined. I know they didn't make any money from the raffle idea but it so clearly was Lucinda's idea and Alex claimed it was his! He is very snide indeed.I haven't forgotten how he bullied that chap who went out in the first task - he can be very nasty.

InLoveWithSweeneyTodd · 28/05/2008 12:17

does anyone else think Suralan was unnecessarily cruel to Helene? All this about "look at him (Michae), he is young... bla bla, look at you...". I thought she had grounds for sticking 2 fingers at Suralan and say who wants to work for an ageist old git anyway, bye bye.
Michael is clearly not just inexperienced but also useless (selling a sports car in portobello market amongst the vans and the veg??? that is not inexperience that is just sheer stupidity.
Lucinda was testosteroned aside. Poor girl.

beansprout · 28/05/2008 12:18

Helene won't get the job as Surallen has a thing about women who might want children (which he will suspect as she is of a certain age).

Can you blardy imagine going into his office and telling him you are pregnant?!

beansprout · 28/05/2008 12:19

And Helene (not that I am a fan) has a mind of her own and he wants someone he can manipulate so he will give it some guff about her being of a different culture and not fitting in.

ceebee74 · 28/05/2008 12:26

Alex - who cares whether he is crafty or manipulative when looks like that

Lucinda definitely went down in my estimations last night - being all pathetic and crying. I am sure Siralan doesn't want people saying 'I can't do that' and then crying about it, he wants someone who will jut get on with it, experience or no experience.

Anyway, my money is on either Helene or Lucinda going next week as from the clips they showed last night, Siralan said something like 'I can't ignore the evidence of the last 10 weeks' which makes me think it can't be Alex or Claire as he is impressed with them and Lee hasn't particularly been in his firing line either.

Beachcomber · 28/05/2008 12:54

Am I the only one who thinks that Lee is sex on a stick (when he's not being mean to Lucinda)? MUCH sexier than untrustworthy Alex.

VictorianSqualor · 28/05/2008 12:57

LOL, no, All I think of when I see Lee is a wannabe gangsta who can't say Prrrrrrrrrrrrrrroduct.

twinsetandpearls · 28/05/2008 12:58

what company is it that Helene worked for?

twinsetandpearls · 28/05/2008 12:59

sorry it is general electric, wasn't aware they were particularly ruthless.

Twinkie1 · 28/05/2008 13:02

What was the rollercoaster remark?

I said to DH if Michael didn't go last night I was going to to email siralan and ask him whether Michael was sucking him off under the desk??

PinkPussyCat · 28/05/2008 13:21

Yes I thought Surallan probably was a bit hard on Helene (though not a fan of hers either) and did seem to go on a lot about her company... I don't know what he meant. Anyone got any dirt on General Electric then?

Could Claire be this year's Badger I wonder?

NotABanana · 28/05/2008 14:37

Remind me please about Helene's rollercoster remark please.

And didn't Michael look different with more weight on him.

I think Karren Brady is fab and she has recently recovered from a brain op.

beansprout · 28/05/2008 14:39

Claire is no Badge. In fact, this is a pretty rum bunch although I suspect either Lee or Claire will win.

wessexgirl · 28/05/2008 14:41

Am I right in thinking that there are only two episodes left? In which case three will go next week?
