I just saw the final tiebreak of the Aryna/Emma match - looks as if it was a good, close match - without being asked DH said that he liked the colour of Ayna’s skirt/ shorts! I’m not sure if it’s the same colour as Alcaraz’s kit? Sort of pistachio green although yes I’m sure Nike will have come up with some ridiculous name for it!

That was a surprising upset by Adrian, it seemed like he was on the verge of retirement (in the career sense). Unfortunately for him he plays Jannik next. Who apparently had a few wobbles against Gabe Diallo, but still managed to win in straight sets.

I have absolutely no idea why anyone would take their young children to a tennis match. Especially in that heat. Totally with Emma on that one.

I was watching the highlights of Elena’s match and there was a child properly bawling. It’s madness bringing them to the tennis especially in that heat. Poor children.

No, I think taking small children to any sorting event that requires certain behaviour expectations (though there were a few matches at Wimbledon thisyear that sound like football matches) is selfish. You need quiet at tennis, . various points.It's not about being 'anti children' to say it. . It's common sense. Not a lot of that around these days though sounds like my 95 year old gran.

Add in the heat, it can't be a pleasant day out- for anyone- least of all a small child.

It is madness taking a very young child to the tennis - they’ll probably get very bored and/or make a nuisance of themselves! I’m surprised it’s allowed really (apart from Rafa junior of course who always behaves himself!)
