I wasn't a fan of the whole event any way, but it's becoming more farcical by the day.
I know that Paula Badosa has withdrawn- if they wanted to make the event look in any way legit- and not just a money spinning PR exhibition- they would have given a wild card to Katerina Siniakova - arguably the best doubles player around. She wanted to play with Marco Arevelo but will need a wild card. Which seems utterly stupid .
Siniakova is quoted saying 'when 2 world number ones don't get in, what more can I say'
Exactly. it's not about the actual game is it? it's about 'is Carlos going out with Emma Raducanu' and other stupid gossip.

I find it totally disrespectful to career doubles players - and mixed is only played at the slams.

Sorry I shouldn’t have mentioned the doubles, I’ve triggered you all!

I haven’t managed to see any tennis today because I am away with work. However my work took me to Wimbledon (the area) so I did walk past the tennis club.

I missed the end of Jasmine's match, and was very sad to see she lost in the end.
Wins for Daniil, Lore and Casper though.

The Umpire in the Rublev match is not happy with the wandering spectators.

Andrey is doing well. But Gaston ought to be an easy match, he's had a rubbish year.

This umpire is on the cusp of 'SIT THE FUCK DOWN', I can tell.

Gaston is not happy about a code violation. She's pulling no punches, this umpire.

I'm amazed they don't at least cover the courts with something- they have to get towels out probably to dry the lines/ or the motorised dryer machine.
