Miss Baxter has taken Molesley's advice and is about to tell Cora her story.

Miss Baxter has been in prison That is quite a revelation.

As a young actress, she was taken on for a season at Pitlochry Festival Theatre and scarpered very early on - and then was rather supercilious about the theatre in a newspaper interview.
