I was feeling sorry for Ngozi's son. He was absolutely desperate to go back to Nigeria, and whether she survives or not he's presumably stuck in the UK for some time.

bizzey · 21/09/2025 01:53

The one thing that is confusing me me is that Siobhan and Nicole were going to bomb it along the A12 ??!!

I thought Holby was set in Bristol ?

I rewound it and had subtitles on ..and Siobhan def said A12 !!

bizzey · 21/09/2025 01:55

So that's it now till Christmas special ?

Or have they stopped that now ?

bizzey · 21/09/2025 02:05

Should say ..A12 is London , Essex , Suffolk.
And they were not going to Stansted as Nicole had Holby airport on her phone !

bizzey · 21/09/2025 02:08

Sloppy end of series episode.

Don't really care enough about Ngozi and certainly don't care enough about Faith or Ian ,, to feel that there was much of a cliffhanger.

EBearhug · 21/09/2025 02:44

I too was confused by the A12.

spiderlight · 21/09/2025 06:34

I guess they just picked a random plausible-sounding road name. Siobhan's driving was funny but a bit out of character! I agree, there needed to be a better end - it doesn't feel enough for an end-of-series cliffhanger.

Rash was picking up a prescription - does this mean he's back on the antidepressants?

ChipsAndSaladCream · 21/09/2025 07:40

Awww no. So this is it? I didnโ€™t realise it was end of series. When does it restart?

Agree with PP about not caring enough about Ngozi, Faith or Ian for it to be a cliff hanger moment. Seeing Faithโ€™s tears and pained expression every five minutes is tedious!

daffodilandtulip · 21/09/2025 08:28

Very odd driving from Siobhan, and surprised the BBC would get away with that tbh. Bit silly.

Much as I've been begging Ian to leave Faith (said like I know him in real life), you don't end a marriage on the car park. Is Ian heading for a breakdown where Stevie will save his life, or just a shag with Stevie?

Ngozi's son seemed to arrive in the UK alone, so he could just as easily go home. They'll either have forgotten he exists by next series or Nicole will be mothering him with her sad eyes.

Boss man needs to go. He doesn't care and he's shit. But why do all these dramas think people shag in store cupboards? Have they ever seen a hospital?

I'm not sure they do Christmas specials anymore

But yes that's it till I think just after Christmas maybe

When they started, all the filming was around Bristol, but now it's Cardiff. I suspect they just hoped no-one would know the real A12.

I think the shag in the cupboard was reflecting reality.

A general view of a doctor in white surgical coat and shirt, with a stethoscope around his neck. The image focuses below chin level

Tameside doctor walked out of operation for sex with nurse

The consultant admitted his actions were "shameful" but says he wants to resume his career.

carmak · 21/09/2025 09:30

The woman in the next bed to me shagged her boyfriend in the hospital store cupboard, 2 days after giving birth. Those cupboards have seen all sorts!

I actually felt really sorry for Faith tonight. She was blindsided by that - Iain was really quite cruel.

How did Ngozi get such a severe head injury just from falling over drunk? Surely the bartender would have cut her off, given that she was in charge of a child and about to get on a plane - or did she buy the bottle at duty free? (I might be overthinking this a bit).

She had aspirated, basically choked on her own vomit, so lost consciousness and fell. You would have thought the bartender would have said no more. How she was found in a toilet landside rather than airside and had acquired a bottle of vodka was not explained. Perhaps they got offloaded for her being drunk or too late to gate and sent back through.

purpleme12 · 21/09/2025 14:15

No she just wouldn't go to the gate and wanted to drink

xSideshowAuntSallyXx · 21/09/2025 15:09

I too felt sorry for Faith last night. Iain's a twat, and to call time on their marraige in a car park is cold. He put his colleague in danger playing the hero too. He would have been sacked by now in real life.

I hope he tries it on with Stevie and she tells him where to go. Bring him down a peg or two.

I laughed at Siobhan's driving, nice bit of comedy before more doom and gloom.

Just as I was beginning to like Flynn they do that bollocks with him shagging a patients mother in the store cupboard.

ChipsAndSaladCream · 21/09/2025 19:30

Flynn always looks like he needs a hot soapy shower, the dirty greaseball!

Ian is a fickhead. (Thanks predictive text. Yeah, I like the found of that so Iโ€™m not gonna correct it). He is a liability and needs sacking. Send him to Strictly Come Dancing instead.

As for Siobhanโ€™s driving, well maybe she swigged vodka before setting off. She wouldnโ€™t drive like that. No ways!

I did think they were going the long way roundโ€ฆ

bizzey · 21/09/2025 22:44

What annoys me more about the A12 thing , is that it is quite a big important road.

.( I have driven up and down it quite a few times !)

It is one of the main roads /link roads from London to Essex and upwards !

There were loads of random non road numbers they could have chosen for the famous stupid drive !!

Why pick a road that lots of people know !

MsFelicityLemon · 22/09/2025 17:35

Im just catching up and only just started the episode. How did the man lose his entire arm - was he attached to the door with his arm outstretched? I mean wouldn't it be a natural reaction to move away once the chain saw came through? Or even collapse when the chainsaw came down onto the arm, so you'd have a server gash

I appreciate I'm daft wanting clarity from Casualty ๐Ÿ˜†

dimples76 · 22/09/2025 20:02

Hope that someone can give you a plausible explanation @MsFelicityLemon. I watched* the episode with DS12 and he spent most of the episode ruminating on how the arm was cut off.*

I don't know why I let it annoy me so much (as he never follows rules/orders) but Iain leaving his colleague was just awful.

spiderlight · 23/09/2025 15:11

I'm wondering whether he'd leaned against the door to stop them opening it, or to look through a spy-hole. I think it's one for the suspension-of-reality bucket though - we can put it next to the staff notice periods.

Mumdiva99 · 26/10/2025 09:23

I'm really late to be catching up on this. Why didn't Cassie get discussed as being a donor? Wouldn't she have been a good candidate?

purpleme12 · 26/10/2025 09:24

I can't remember at all as it's been so long ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
