I will admit to (re)watching the first episode.
Had fogotten just how many shots there were of horses galloping across headlands.
And that although I am sure it is wrong of me, i find Elizabeth really irritating and therefore Poldark really silly for being so attached to her.
And dont think I can put up with the plot development from this.
Which is sort of central.
(I hadn't realised the earlier version of Poldark was a BBC series. I wonder why they dont make it available. Maybe there's some legal hitch? Would have thought after re-showing this version, it would make sense to reshow the original. )
