The production companies would call the college student union to ask for people to be in the audience.

I have been a contestant on Popmaster TV. Wasn't expecting to win but the experience was a good laugh.

Red Dwarf back in the day. It was hilarious. The cast were so much fun, and all seemed genuinely lovely. Everyone had a great time. Took forever though with all of the corpsing and pissing about.

Also went to Gavin & Stacey filming at Pam & Micks house last year-didn’t see any actual filming but did see cast walking up street and Larry Lamb came over to meet people waiting.

Being Human was filmed in parts of an old hospital where I was working.
Sadly the crew and cast made life extremely difficult, making us wait, sometimes quite a while, to go past, shushing us if we were chatting and generally being far more important than us lowly hospital staff.

We live in an area surrounded by new film studios, so lots going on all the time.
There's often Midsomer Murders or Marlow Murder Club or similar being filmed on location. Loads of dead people! A while ago they took over much of a local village and filmed Miss Austen for BBC. We had great fun saying 'Oh look there's so and so' (extra in the background) or 'That's Toby Sanders'* house/field/cows!'

Showing my age here; The Good Guys. I really liked Nigel Havers….still think he’s a nice looking chap, and a brilliant actor, so it was very exciting watching a bit of the filming!

Peaky blinders in castlefield, Manchester

Hignfy quite a few times, but not very recently. One of them was Martin Clunes presenting, he fluffs his lines a LOT. I like watching the programme when it's broadcast to work out what they've had to cut because of the lawyers.

I was in a schools edition of Songs of Praise from York Minster when I was 8, the filming was very boring.

Time Team did a 'live' weekend in York which we wandered down to have a look at. Still saw several takes of Phil whatsit with the fake west country accent talking to someone then getting down into a trench to dig, so not very live.

I had an internship in a museum in Vancouver when an episode of Smallville was filmed there. We used the cast and crew canteen and I helped move and place the props! Never seen the episode...

I've been to studio recordings of Have I Got News for You and University Challenge, and I've seen a few scenes from Granchester being filmed in Cambridge.

Stanley Tucci was the Director of a film, Final Portrait (released in 2017), starring Armie Hammer, Geoffrey Rush and Tony Shalhoub, filmed literally opposite my office in Bermondsey Street, SE1. They were there for a couple of days and I watched from the window of my office as filming went on (period film, with the usual traffic squeezing by). Walked to the post box and all three of the above stepped out of one of the local restaurants into my path.

Audience for Graham Norton a couple of times, Kumars at No 42, Paul O'Grady, Loose Women, couple of Andrew Lloyd Webber things including the Find A Joseph final show.

I was a "Judge" on a pilot of a Strictly Come Dancing/Eurovision crossover show which went nowhere, filmed at BBC Centre. I think it was 2009?

My boyfriend at the time saw a bit of the 1983 cult(ish) film Party Party being filmed, released in 1983 - he died that year and I always think of him watching the scene when it's (rarely) on.

Lots of them in Leeds, although not recently. James Corden in Fat Friends was filmed on my street. Kay Mellor lived in Leeds so many of her dramas were filmed in Leeds....The Chase, The Syndicate and many more. Once had my house used for a day of filming!

This morning I saw the filming of Celebrity Hunted! They were in a house on my street!
