Prodigy absolutely knocked it out of the park, incredible - most energy of any set I saw all weekend, and the Firestarter tribute to Keith was genuinely moving.

Gutted not to be there this year, will be trying for tickets again in 2027!

Chumsky · 30/06/2025 01:52

Thanks @Jellykat & to all for sharing this Glasto it’s been a really (unexpectedly) good one! Rave, rock & roll on everyone 🤘

LoudSnoringDog · 30/06/2025 06:41

Absolutely LOVED Nile Rogers and Chic. Thought Rod S was fantastic

WillowTit · 30/06/2025 06:46

i did enjoy niles roger and chic, despite earlier misgivings about his arrogance

the80sweregreat · 30/06/2025 07:43

I’ll have to catch up with Olivia , especially as she brought Robert on.
I don’t know much about her.

I thought it was good this year overall.

GellerYeller · 30/06/2025 08:05

I’ve still to catch up on Nova Twins, Nile and Olivia.
Loved Amyl, Blossoms, Shed Seven, Pulp, Alanis, Brandi, Libertines and Weezer.
Rod with his vintage special guests! Charli and 1975 were interesting.
Have the Kaisers appeared on iPlayer yet?
Hoping to check out more so thanks to everyone who’s made recommendations here. After people slamming the lineup it’s been well worth a watch I think. 😊

fruitandvegoverload · 30/06/2025 08:59

I bloody loved The Prodigy last night, absolutely epic.

I will catch Olivia Rodrigo today, I love her music and attitude.

bestcatlife · 30/06/2025 10:05

The Prodigy had crazy energy. Back to reality now, I'm so sad it's over! I definitely want to go next time.

lifeonmars100 · 30/06/2025 10:10

I will be on Iplayer later to watch the ones I missed and to rewatch the ones I especially enjoyed. Prodigy and Pulp were the highlights for me.

Nothing brings people together like music does.

Don’t go near the other thread 🤣

fruitandvegoverload · 30/06/2025 10:56

@JaneJeffer absolutely! I tried to make a nice positive post and they've just carried on arguing around it 😂

Fibrous · 30/06/2025 11:31

😆

Yes thanks for the recommendations. Will be scrolling back through and catching up with the ones I missed.

RampantIvy · 30/06/2025 13:13

I had Olivia Rodrigo on this morning. She was OK.
Currently have The Prodigy on and it is bloody awful. Not my kind of thing at all.
Putting the Scissor Sisters on now.

the80sweregreat · 30/06/2025 13:23

Olivia is only 22 and headlining ! I found that quite amazing , although it’s not unique there of course.
The Sunday slot is a bit of an odd one as many must go home in the afternoon.

I only know one prodigy song! Not my cup of tea , but they seemed popular.

RampantIvy · 30/06/2025 13:31

I can't deny that she is talented, but she just doesn't do it for me, and The Prodigy is "will you turn off that racket" sound to me.

I'm enjoying the Scissor Sisters though.

SweetBaklava · 30/06/2025 13:34

I’m rewatching Prodigy on my lunch break - the FOMO has not left me 😆

Talisin · 30/06/2025 13:38

Just looked through the schedule to see how many sets I want to catch up on. 21😆although I suspect some are not going to be available. Also trying to find them on iplayer is even more of a chore now as Wimbledon is now front and centre so Glastonbury has been shuffled off to the music category so even more menus to make it through. Starting with Jade as she was the first one I came across.

DJSteves · 30/06/2025 13:38

I’m just home from work and about to smash the Prodigy.

Apparently ( tho I have not tried this myself...), if you go to the search bar of the iplayer and type in the name of the band, you can find them this way?

Talisin · 30/06/2025 13:51

I think you probably can, yeah, but I’m doing this on a TV so trying to type using the remote probably takes longer than the menus!

Talisin · 30/06/2025 14:34

I am a bad Doctor Who fan because having made a fuss of tracking down Franz Ferdinand early because of Peter Capaldi, I totally failed to recognise Ncuti Gatwa introducing Jade😳

tinyspiny · 30/06/2025 14:34

We really enjoyed the Scissor sisters and watched Olivia Rodrigo last night as the Prodigy are not my thing at all . The whole place was full of teen girls which I assume is her target audience , although in that case she really could try not using the F word in every sentence . She is really just the younger , probably cheaper to hire version of Taylor Swift .

IcedPurple · 30/06/2025 14:34

Appalonia · 29/06/2025 23:19

Didn't know who Olivia Rodrigo was, but she was excellent. And bringing in Robert Smith, amazing!

I was also 'Olivia who?' which I guess isn't surprising as she and most of her fans are less (quite a bit less!) than half my age.

But I was very impressed. Her music isn't my thing, but she's a total pro. Imagine being the final act at Glastonbury at the ripe old age of 22! She engaged so well with the audience and seemed to genuinely love being there, and why wouldn't she?

Not sure we needed the up 'skirt' shots of her crotch however.

She’s nothing like Taylor Swift. Unless you think all youngish women singers must be the same. Totally different output, attitude and approach
