I’ve been obsessed with this programme for a couple of years now. It’s absolutely fascinating.

im half way through the new season and I’m absolutely appalled by this guys behaviour towards his wife. It’s clearly he is a very abusive manipulative man. His wife is unwell with the stress and anxiety of it all and he just cannot empathise. I want to reach through the screen and give her a hug

'If he wanted to stop people thinking he was the worst partner in the world, this article just made it worse'

Well, self awareness probably isn't his greatest strength

From the article, I thought they just seemed completely unsuited. They need different things and want to live in different places, and are both quite rigid in their own way. Not very wise to throw two children into the mix

I agree @Lottapianos . Thinking about it overnight, I'm mostly sad for them, and especially their children. He does have a point that Jessica's withdrawing and refusing to respond is just as bad as his shouting, but one comes over worse on telly.

Although, I can't get over him blaming "Dr Guralnik" (as he kept passive-aggressively referring to her) for not guiding the sessions better, or shutting him or letting him talk - I got confused about all his complaints.
