Anyone else watching? I’m enjoying it so far, the Mitfords were a fascinating bunch.

I'm watching it on +1. I don't understand why it's been buried away on.an obscure channel that usually shows repeats. Seems good so far.

Yes I was surprised that it hadn’t been picked up by one of the “big” channels.

I thought episode 1 was very good. I don’t know a huge amount about the Mitford’s, just the basics about Nancy, Unity, Diana and Deborah so it’s inspired me to read up a bit more.

I already started a thread about this earlier in the evening so that people would be aware for those who want to binge watch.

There is a week by week thread as well.

Seems it was a waste of time doing it.

But then all over mumsnet there are duplicate threads.

Rather under mines the function of a forum.

Sad

I noticed at one point that one of the characters was saying she would "take it with" rather than "take it with me" which seemed jarring as it's a more recent phrase.

I've just binged the lot,it was fantastic and so interesting. Why on earth was it in UK Drama? I'm watching The Pursuit of Happiness now same channel.

Just finished it. I want more! It was good to see all of the sisters' stories develop, rather than focussing on just one or two.

Given that they shared the same parents and the same upbringing (without the outside influence of school), it's remarkable just how different they all turned out.

Have you seen The Pursuit of Happiness? It's good.

They were desperate for an education, had they had it I doubt they would have been quite so extreme.
