I hope they dont try and make it like a modern take on an extraordinary family from a different ers.

Would really like to find out more about what they did actually do as opposed to all the stories circulated about them.

The series is based Mary Lovell's biography about them (The Mitford Girls) and it's an excellent read. I'd also strongly recommend Letters Between Six Sisters by Charlotte Moseley (Diana's DIL).

I'm waiting till it's a bit cooler to start watching as I want to be able to concentrate fully!

it seemed quite good but not very exciting for evening viewing.

Found this a rather gentle but surprisingly good watch for something that’s come out quite under the radar . Definitely hoping for a second season .
