This is our tenth anniversary of sharing our thoughts on Our Girl series one and have subsequently watched the other three series, followed by Soldier Soldier, The Musketeers, Spooks and Hustle so thought it was time to try something different. This Gillingham bloke is a bit of a chancer. Anna needs to be careful I think

This card game is the Downton equivalent of those awful boxing matches in Soldier Soldier!

These are awful scenes.

Oh dear turning nasty is putting it mildly. Poor Anna is in trouble

They are all quite rude about Dame Nellie's singing.

Mr Rochester will probably be in Lord G's good books now!

Not quite so many episodes thank goodness.

Here she is again, slithering in to ingratiate herself with Tom,

Oh Rochester is now in Lord Gs good books. Edith is happy

Poor Anna, she is in a terrible state. Poor Mrs Hughes must be so conflicted, but Anna is probably right to be afraid of what Mr Bates would do, and we all think he is capable of it.

Poor Anna is more worried about what Bates would do if he found out. Poor girl. Mrs Hughes being so kind

Poor Anna, she's distraught. I can understand why she doesn't want Mr Bates to know,

That seems another short episode.

It was Mr Gillingham who’s the right creep.

A very full episode. A card cheat trounced. Lord G talking to a singer and then thinks Rochester is a good cove. Mrs P ill so Alfred realises he likes cooking and then the awful ending with poor Anna being assaulted by a dreadful man

I think these episodes were the standard hour long ones with adverts, so it's taking about 45 minutes.

That episode took a dark turn at the end and I fear there will be difficult times for Anna and Mr Bates. It's not as if they've had things easy so far, is it.

Same time next week?

Should be okay for the next 3 or 4 weeks, then I’ll have to miss one.

I expect the Anna/Mr Gillingham story will carry on in episode 4.

Yes, life is not easy for the Bates couple, is it?
