This is our tenth anniversary of sharing our thoughts on Our Girl series one and have subsequently watched the other three series, followed by Soldier Soldier, The Musketeers, Spooks and Hustle so thought it was time to try something different. Mary is like a black ghost...the woman in black. Gosh how she makes "Have a happy time" almost sound like a threat.

Mrs Hughes has tracked down the sender of the letters to Mr Carson. Is it his old mate from on the stage?

This is Mr R's flat. Edith is hanging out with the arty types looking very 20's flapperish.

Old Lady G turns up at the Molesley house trying to help Mr Molesley get a new job with one of her cronies.

Violet is very kind in trying to find Molesley a job.

His Lordship is keen to keep Mary out of the Downton business

Tom probably knows better what Mary needs to do. Sitting around all day with nothing to do will not bring her back to the real world.

My 1970s Moulinex looks about as basic as that mixer!

They haven't really changed, have they. Must be a truly classic design.

I think his Lordship is not keen to have his nose put out of joint if his daughter...a woman after all ...might di a better job than him

Tom enlists Carson's help in trying to get Mary to take a role in the estate management.

Mrs Hughes gives isabel some bucking up advice and we know that Isabel herself is not adverse to being in the bucking up brigade when required.

That is very true. He has been a real stick in the mud over the estate running by anyone under the age of 50 and he really doesn't rate the ability of his daughters at all. He is always so disparaging of Edith.

Thomas and Nanny are not fans of each other at all. I feel conflict coming on.
