So

Michael Fabricant was the first to be evicted. Mickey Rourke left next. Then Trisha was evicted, followed by Daley. Patsy and Jack have both survived two evictions.

We're going into the final week now, with the final airing on Friday 25th April!

Chris and Jojo are besties who flirt, apparently.

Ella is seething with jealousy at their relationship and seems to be whinging about it to anyone who will listen.

Before leaving, Daley dispensed advice to Ella about two contestants who know how to play the game. Ella has taken this to mean Chris and Jojo.

(We also know that Daley was speaking about Chris and Jojo, he said as much on l&l when he was evicted).

Chris has since been in tears at the allegations of him being a game player, and says that his friendship with Jojo is genuine.

The housemates passed their shopping task, which was to dress up as a member of a big brother family, which includes a mum, dad, grandparents, teens and toddlers. They now have a luxury shopping budget, after being on an economy one last week.

On Tuesday, there will be a triple eviction, and the housemates have nominated face to face: Ella, Angelica, Patsy, Jojo, Chris and Chesney were initially up, and in a surprise twist, one of the group was able to save themselves from the public vote. Jojo saved herself, and chose Danny to face eviction in her place. Jojo chose Danny.

So its: Ella, Angelica, Patsy, Chris and Danny up for eviction.

Upon being nominated so many times, Ella became upset and delivered her nominations with an unkind passion. She said that Chesney, as a man, should've protected her from Mickey Rourke and his sexist comments towards her. Mickey was upset by this and was comforted by Jojo and Chris.

Patsy nominated Ella and Angelica and mentioned that she thought that they were mean school girls who were bitching about her.

On Late and Live, we've had a week of Tiffany 'New York' Pollard (David's dead). She was... not afraid to speak her mind. This week, Oti Mabuse will be the house guest 🙌.

As before, It was impossible to avoid spoilers, so please expect them.

Put all my votes on Danny. He is my winner.

Although I have to say I wouldn't really care too much if any of the last 6 win. I have liked them all.

I don't get the hate for Chris on here. I don't really see what he has done so wrong other than form a friendship and close bond with someone. I quite like him. And I don't get the hate for Donna either. She didn't bang on that much about Angelica. No more than Angelica did anyway. And there was definitely no bullying going on.

But for me Danny deserves the win as I have loved watching him and I really like him and it would mean the most to him to win it I think.

MrTiddlesTheCat · 25/04/2025 10:48

Danny deserves the win just for being mum during the family task. That was my favourite bit of this series.

CellophaneFlower · 25/04/2025 10:51

My observations from last night were:

Donna has based herself on Dawn French.

Chesney in night vision, putting on his specs to read his letter was the spit of Ken Barlow.

CellophaneFlower · 25/04/2025 10:56

I actually think Chris has done JoJo a favour no matter what his intentions are. She doesn't need to pigeon hole herself as a lesbian just because she's never spent any meaningful time with a man.

I agree 😂

omg he is Ken Barlow!

CellophaneFlower · 25/04/2025 11:08

Oooh another one. How big was Chesney's cat?!

Agreed. It was really funny.

If Jack wins I’ll be furious!* What’s he done except drink tea?! Not a deserving winner.

*While not exactly furious I’ll be at most somewhat disappointed.

I don’t get it either.
I guess there are a lot of Coronation Street fans who want him to win.

CellophaneFlower · 25/04/2025 12:44

I didn't know if that was a slight dig from Danny in the diary room when he said something like "jack will keep sailing through" or whatever it was.

I don't mind Jack though. I kind of like the fact he hasn't "performed" and has just been himself. Unlike Chesney, who I feel has desperately tried to make himself appear far more interesting than he actually is.

MrsPeterHarris · 25/04/2025 12:49

I agree @CellophaneFlower- I feel we’ve seen the real Jack, who is actually a normal guy who mooches around the house drinking tea & being sarcastic when he’s not working.

David, Donna, Chris & Chesney have all tried a bit too hard to get screen time & are very concerned with how the public are perceiving them, so are not being truly themselves.

I think Jojo has also just been herself - she’s just a bit more out there than most people. I’d never seen her in anything before & she has impressed me a lot. I do wish she could simply accept herself though, without needing to label anything.

mumofoneAlonebutokay · 23/04/2025 21:30

Donna has the energy of a bossy retail worker who thinks she's the manager and hates uni students

Not speaking from personal trauma experience

I had a "Donna" when I worked in HMV through my college years, absolute cunt to me, it's not cool

Eldermillennialmum · 25/04/2025 13:38

I think JoJo meant in 48 hours they'll be out of the house and she's have been able to speak with her girlfriend and she'll be able to tell Chris she has feelings for him, which does make me feel weird about the situation as I don't think he feels the same and she's so young.

whynotwhatknot · 25/04/2025 13:41

that letter from jojo mum was so cold and the true colours comment who was she referrfing to

actually do think jojo is a nice girl but the whole thing with chris is just offputting-they isolated themselves then wondered why everyone had a problem and nominated them for it

jack will have a massive corrie following like colston did and jack has been in it alot longer

whynotwhatknot · 25/04/2025 13:43

if anyone is interested in betting odds danny is favourite to win at 4/6 jack a close second 11/4 and jojo out in third at 10/1 so would be unuual to win but then we saw boring ulrika win at 20/1 so no impossible

CellophaneFlower · 25/04/2025 14:01

jack will have a massive corrie following like colston did and jack has been in it alot longer

Plus Jack can actually act 🙈

I've gone off Donna. I just think if I was in the house she'd make me feel uncomfortable... just as Dawn French would 😂 She's very brash. It's possibly more a 'me' thing though.

Yep!
It's really bothering me now, I don't know what her expectations are, but I'm fairly sure she will be disappointed.

Just listening to today’s podcast of On The Sofa, with Colson, and Jacks pants have indeed gone viral.

Can’t stand donnas acting voice ‘hello there’ !

mumofoneAlonebutokay · 25/04/2025 17:19

I voted for Jojo last night 🥰

Whatever the truth, I just can’t shake the feeling that Chris has manipulated JoJo. This is his thing, he goes on reality TV and forms a close bond with someone else in order to maximise air time.

I think Trish nailed it when she said JoJo was a young girl out of her depth. It will end in tears.

Danny for the win, if I was a housemate I would have enjoyed his company the most.

It will be a big, soggy letdown if Jack wins.

purpleme12 · 25/04/2025 17:52

I have a feeling Danny will win

But I want JoJo to win

This podcast has been brilliant during this series of CBB. I had never listened before and haven’t seen corrie for decades, but I’m now in love with Ben Price, who plays Nick Tilsley. Lovely man.
