Celebrity Big Brother (ITV) and Late and Live (ITV2) - Thread 5 - Please expect spoilers.

So

Michael Fabricant was the first to be evicted. Mickey Rourke left next. Then Trisha was evicted, followed by Daley. Patsy and Jack have both survived two evictions.

We're going into the final week now, with the final airing on Friday 25th April!

Chris and Jojo are besties who flirt, apparently.

Ella is seething with jealousy at their relationship and seems to be whinging about it to anyone who will listen.

Before leaving, Daley dispensed advice to Ella about two contestants who know how to play the game. Ella has taken this to mean Chris and Jojo.

(We also know that Daley was speaking about Chris and Jojo, he said as much on l&l when he was evicted).

Chris has since been in tears at the allegations of him being a game player, and says that his friendship with Jojo is genuine.

The housemates passed their shopping task, which was to dress up as a member of a big brother family, which includes a mum, dad, grandparents, teens and toddlers. They now have a luxury shopping budget, after being on an economy one last week.

On Tuesday, there will be a triple eviction, and the housemates have nominated face to face: Ella, Angelica, Patsy, Jojo, Chris and Chesney were initially up, and in a surprise twist, one of the group was able to save themselves from the public vote. Jojo saved herself, and chose Danny to face eviction in her place. Jojo chose Danny.

So its: Ella, Angelica, Patsy, Chris and Danny up for eviction.

Upon being nominated so many times, Ella became upset and delivered her nominations with an unkind passion. She said that Chesney, as a man, should've protected her from Mickey Rourke and his sexist comments towards her. Mickey was upset by this and was comforted by Jojo and Chris.

Patsy nominated Ella and Angelica and mentioned that she thought that they were mean school girls who were bitching about her.

On Late and Live, we've had a week of Tiffany 'New York' Pollard (David's dead). She was... not afraid to speak her mind. This week, Oti Mabuse will be the house guest 🙌.

As before, It was impossible to avoid spoilers, so please expect them.

If I were Jojo, I’d be questioning why no one mentioned Chris.

I have no idea who JoJo's theyfriend is, I do know on the basis of that horrible letter though that I don't like her. Why would JoJo's Mum agree to put in the 'most important' passive aggressive message from the theyfriend?

I guess that if the mum didn’t mention the theyfriend at all then Jojo would know she’d decided it was over. As it was she said she was ‘keen’ to see Jojo Not ‘looking forward’ to seeing her. Not ‘can’t wait’ to see her.

Keen to see her to read her the riot act, probably.

As cringe as the letters are and I hate them I think it’s done to help them acclimatise before leaving.

Can’t imagine doing three weeks with the same people, no other human contact, no phone, tv etc and then walking out to crowds of people.

The loaded "Kath is keen to see you when you get out" was chilling. And JoJo looked destroyed by it, it was horrible.

Agree letter to JoJo wasn’t nice. When Chris read it out I think he said the keen to see her bit was in inverted commas which sounds much worse.

Who thinks what, then?

A) Chris genuinely loves Jojo. It’s an expectedly wonderful platonic connection that they have. She’s like an adorable younger sibling.

Or:

B) Chris has manufactured a will-they-won’t-they showmance with this little 21 year old who’s never had sex with a man before in order to grab lots of screen time and capture the viewers’ interest

Either way I think Jojo is perhaps not as gay as she thoughy and has developed real feelings for him.

A - JoJo reaches for Chris as much as he reaches for her. She's 21 she's not a little child!
She has had more experience than most and I thoroughly believe if she wasn't comfortable she would have said/moved away e.g like the finger kiss Chris did she drew firm boundaries

I agree that JoJo has real feelings for Chris and hell yes to B.

I also think that Chris is playing with her and has no real feelings for her whatsoever.

I've tried to give him the benefit of the doubt as I know nothing about him beyond Love Island. But seriously, she is as far from the type he'd normally go for surely.

He realised she looked up to him for some reason and just pulled her in.

I really hope she doesn't tell him she loves him in 48 hours... bless her 😒

But what on earth has Chris got to gain. He gets no prize money from this, he may get a few followers sure but he would have really got more from being with Ella than JoJo.
It's really weird that people think this will dramatically change his life!

I think A particularly after hearing Chris’s mate on L& L on what Chris is like on the outside.

I think he felt a connection with JoJo straight away, he pulled Mickey up early on whilst the rest were mute (because Mickey was this season's 'big' name).
I find Chris bland and generally a bit meh, however I think the friendship is genuine.

I don't see it as changing his life. He was one of the least famous in there and would easily have been overlooked without some kind of bromance/romance.

It's all about likes and popularity for reality stars. That can't be underestimated.

Ella was far too high maintenance and hard work.

I think at first he treated her like a little sister and was protective. But it changed into something else that made me feel really uncomfortable.

It felt as though he was in control and she was out of her depth. Like he was getting off on how much she liked him, it felt imbalanced.

If on the outside Jojo becomes Chris’ New Best Friend it could potentially change his life. She’s a massive name dropper and seemingly has access to some of the biggest stars in the world - I’m no fan of the Kardashians but they’re all over reality tv, and she’s talked about being close with them. And she’s on Elton John’s Christmas card list, ffs.

A cynic might think Chris believes he could gain access to her world if they get really pally on the outside.

That reminded me, that woman off Towie GC ended up close friends with the Kardashian's hairdresser was it?

I’m torn about Chris & Jojo. Originally I thought he was faking it for access to her popularity but after tonight, I think he genuinely cares for her. No doubt he knows how to play the reality TV game (stripping in front of Jojo tonight!!) but he seemed genuine to me.

I think Jojo is my winner now (although I’ve already used all 5 votes for Donna!).
