Anyone watching this on Sky? I read the book a long time ago & loved it (but can’t remember much about it!) and watching episode 1 now. I’m quite enjoying it!

Is this a remake or the one that came out a while back? I recall watching the series, but then it was discontinued?

I also read the book and watched the film version.

The series was… tricky. Moffat tried to spread the book over two series, but then it wasn’t renewed (IMO he used more than half the content in the first series anyway).

Just googled - it’s from 2022, I didn’t realise though as hadn’t heard of it before as just saw it pop up on my sky. Is it good then? Should I bother continuing if it got cancelled?

I enjoyed it.

I enjoyed the series still (and it uses the correct Chicago locations) but I know the
book backwards - I am not sure if I would have been confused by it as a “fresh” story.

Loved the book, watched the series and the film.
Also went to London and enjoyed the musical a few years back…

Binge watched the series - I really enjoyed it & gutted it didn’t finish properly as I can’t remember what happens in the end.

Did they have a child? Can the child time travel?

What happened with his feet?
When / how does he die?
Did Claire get together with Gomes in the end?
What was the purpose of them talking to the video?

My recollections are that - yes the child could time travel.
The protagonist died of his injuries, but time travel meant that the child got to see an earlier version of him.
