So we're three days in Mickey Rourke has managed to insult: Jojo and the entire LGBTQ+ community Drag queens Patsy's cooking Donna's weight He's had a telling off from Big Brother re his comments and discussion of nominations Mickey has been nominated by Jojo, who had a killer nomination, and is the first housemate to be up for eviction.

Daley Thompson is immune from being nominated, thanks to Mickey. Trisha has a lot of stories Donna wears an LED mask to bed Jack P Shepherd has been mute 🤐 so far (as his biggest hater, I love it 🤭)

Contains discussion of the spoiler content shown on Late and Live (ITV2) but no further spoilers please 🙏 No spoilers from the live stream or the tabloids Here's the link to thread one: www.mumsnet.com/talk/tellyaddicts/5307304-celebrity-big-brother-starts-mon-7th-april-on-itv

Agree about Trisha. As much as I feel for her medical predicament, she always turns every conversation back to her. Asking Daley who his hero was then not letting him speak to tell us all about her friendship with Nelson Mandela was just irritating.

That really pissed me off, I was dying to hear his story! & as a PP said she obviously only asked him so she could say she met Mandela... my eyes nearly didn't come back from inside my head they rolled so much

dapsnotplimsolls · 09/04/2025 23:28

I can't see anyone daring to nominate her. Apart from maybe Danny and Mickey 😂

Appalonia · 09/04/2025 23:29

I just tried to watch the bloodstream but it was all birdsong!

Haha! I read ‘bloodstream’ and thought, fuck, things have escalated in there!

Appalonia · 09/04/2025 23:36

Oh God I didn't see that! Obvs I meant livestream, but that's funnier!

Stoppickingthosespots · 09/04/2025 23:46

I feel huge sympathy for Trisha, but I’ve never been keen on her 😬
Not sure about Jojo, bit annoying

TellingBone · 09/04/2025 23:50

Hilarious conversation on live feed at the moment concerning feminine intimate wipes and Chris thinks intimacy only refers to sex and others trying to explain things. Unsuccessfully 😅

purpleme12 · 10/04/2025 00:00

This meditation session 😂

purpleme12 · 10/04/2025 00:04

@2025willbemytime I also got annoyed with Trisha shutting it down

purpleme12 · 10/04/2025 00:13

Just the knickers 😂

I think MR orchestrated that whole thing tonight because he knows Jo Jo has the killer nomination. He's realised that he doesn't want to be there so he's pissing people off to get nominated. He's not a stupid man. As he said to Danny, he's worked with all sorts of people in his past so he's not oblivious as to what is offensive or not.

I agree that MR probably orchestrated this incident but not to get evicted. I think he is playing to win. The row built up as JJ escalated it and showed distress (not well acted).. He then repeated 'forbidden' words and acted learning them.
In the DR she was nasty when saying who she would give the killer nomination to but when she came out she was all sweetness and light towards MR when he apologised for what he had said.
Time will tell but I think he's far older, smarter and more cunning than she is.

TeaRoseTallulah · 10/04/2025 00:25

Checking in! I've just caught up.

MR is like Jim Davidson,he'll have been talking like that all his career and can't take it when someone pulls him up on it. Dirty letch. To say he'd TIE that young girl up? Fucking hell!!

Also loving PP's response to not a wig man saying would she give him a colonic!

Love JoJo and was really expecting not to.

Nothing wrong with telling MR to use the bathroom instead of the kitchen sink , I doubt he was going to leave it in a fit state for others to use afterwards. Grim.

Blojappre · 10/04/2025 01:13

I watched jojo ten years ago on Dance moms. She’s really grown up on tv…. Look at her standing up to a bully at ten years old….. she’s still holding her own. Good for her.

Playing to win? Sorry but I don't quite follow. Are you saying that his bigoted remarks will win him votes? Jojo has also acted badly but surely most agree he was WAY out of line. If this wins him votes that's horrible.

And I don't think Jojo was 'acting'. I think she was genuinely upset at the bigotry or at best severe cluelesness as to what's offensive.

Edited

Unfortunately because she's " a lot" at times, there will be a lot of people that see it him being a bumbling old man who just can't keep up with the woke kids and her reaction will be scrutinised. There's lots of comments in his support on most of the media articles etc.

I said on the previous thread that I thought this might be how it played out.
The fact that essentially he's made a joke about raping a 21 year old or evicting her because she said she wouldn't sleep with him will get lost along the way, and the focus will be on her being an "angry lesbian "who over reacts to a cheeky Hollywood god in order to prove a point/is fame hungry/ sanctimonious.

Before the tying up side was broadcast and it was just reported as him saying hed make her straight, i spoke about the sexual threat implied. As someone who's had similar comments made to me, i guessed there will be an element of sexual threat involved because that's mostly the undertone of those comments about making people straight that I think perhaps gets lost on people that haven't experienced it. In talking about it I was also then told off for lecturing people.

Its not a situation I'd want to be in and with the world scrutinising your reaction.

Some of the rest of the group will get the kudos of helping her though, without the pressure of being the perfect victim so will likely come out of it well though

Couldn't agree more. I find all her deep and meaningful conversations boring, more about her than the person she's talking to. Why can't she just have a normal conversation.

mepipesneedlagging · 10/04/2025 06:33

Trisha turning around every conversation back to her. We all know someone like her and do our best to avoid them.
Ask you a story about yourself "Your Hero Daley?" with only one intention.
Not saying she embellished the Mandela story, but she reminded me of when Paul Burrell talks about his relationship with Diana and the Royal family. Doesn't let the facts get in the way of a good story to impress folk.

I don’t know anything about Jack Shepherd And I’ve seen nothing so far to even make my own opinion on him.

I agree that Donna and Ella are completely pointless in there and a waste of someone far more interesting. So long as they’re not as ‘interesting’ as Mickey

From what i know of him he’s in Coronation Street and has been in it for over 20 years.

in real life he was married with children. Then had an affair and got another woman pregnant. He never sees this other child who has medical conditions and has left the mother to cope on her own.

He and his wife eventually split and he is now engaged to someone else.

2025willbemytime · 10/04/2025 06:58

@springishereeeee Jack didn't marry his ex in real life.

ChkChkBoom · 10/04/2025 07:42

Mickey isn't an easy watch. He's so strange to look at, the bizarre woven hair and the big swollen face (puts me in mind of the elephant man). The closed eyes/rocking in the diary room when he was being told off too, that was hard to watch - he looked so troubled (though I can't decide if that was acting or genuine). And he looks smelly, I'm waiting for one of them to confirm that he is 😂
I don't think I'm going to enjoy watching until he leaves. The things he said to/about JoJo were so awful, I felt really bad for her.

She fancies herself as an A lister it would seem 😂 She's a total bore.
