Loved Men Begaving Badly back in the day. Very enjoyable to see them travelling through France, where Neil lives, they have a genuine friendship and are both funny. The scenery was amazing but the programme also touched on their troubled childhoods, Neil being put into care - made to have a tattoo by a teenager on his first day in care and Martin being beaten in boarding school. Good to see they’ve made a success of their lives and seem to be nice people.

Neil also told a story of auditioning for the film The Bounty and losing out to Hugh Grant but as Neil had his equity card and Hugh didn’t “I was off to Tahiti” as a teenager. His life could have gone in a very different direction, its good to hear positive life stories.
