Hollyoaks- Newt and his friend Eli

Is Eli real? or is he in Newt's imagination only. He only seems to appear when Newt is struggling to cope with his emotions and fears of being sent away and no longer being wanted.
Or am I just "seeing things" that aren't there!

That is a very good point, but I don't know whether it's abit deep for Hollyoaks, but it's got me thinking!!!!! Your very clever!

dirtymonkey · 13/05/2008 16:26

lol at v.clever more like I watch too much telly!

ooooh think you've hit on something there.

MerlinsBeard · 14/05/2008 22:54

we thought that the other day. they have a bit of a mental health thng going on at the mo don'tthye?! (Jake, Hannah

deaconblue · 15/05/2008 20:42

I am sure it's going to be a split personality storyline. The other day when he was in the pub, people nearly bumped into him without noticing him. But more importantly, where has the gorgeous child who I shouldn't fancy, Justin, gone?

JODIEhavingababy · 16/05/2008 10:21

MMmm Shoppingbags, I feel the same about Justin.... I had just about gotten over him and then he goes and dons a bloody leotard and dances on Ice!!! yum yum..... I feel a little bit dirty, but I kinda like it!!! At least he's not a teenager! (just about!)

dirtymonkey · 16/05/2008 10:31

Do you know what's even more worse than admitting you fancy Justin, I've always a bit of a "thing" for Max and O.B! - In my mind they are like Ant and Dec it would be cruel to split them up or choose between them!

LOL at Max and OB!!! Another reason I watch Hollyoaks is Russ!!! But thats OK.... He's about legal!

dirtymonkey · 16/05/2008 10:48

Don't you think that greasy Leachture Sarah was having a thing with look a bit like Russ did when he had hair or is that just me again?

JODIEhavingababy · 16/05/2008 10:49

I think thats just you, but then again maybe I'm in denial! Going the other way on the age spectrum... Would you do Sarah's Dad?

dirtymonkey · 16/05/2008 10:56

He is the best of the olds really isn't he. Unless you would Jack, Leo or Neville?
Ooh and he didn't look too bad with just a cushion the week either.

He is abit of alright! And don't you think that JP and the vicar make such a lovely couple! I go all gooey when I think of them, they are sooo pretty! (my pregnacy brain has kicked in and I can't remember the vicar's name!)

dirtymonkey · 16/05/2008 11:09

They do but Kris would be better for JP.
They could have a real relationship not just another sordid affair.
By the way I do know it's not real but I really do watch Hollyoaks way too much!

My DH really takes the p**s out of me saying I'm far too old for Hollyoaks, but I love it! It's by far the best soap on Tele!

tullytwo · 16/05/2008 11:27

I thought the same as well dirtymonkey when I watched it briefly the other night.

I dip in and out but it certainly seemed to me that that was where the storyline was heading.

He may have even been a real person in Newts life and when things get tough Newt uses his memory to help him cope etc.

JODIEhavingababy · 16/05/2008 22:43

Oh Shoppingbags, you must be a mind reader. The delicious Justin was in it tonight!
