Yeah I thought about Steph being Ruby's sister as well as daughter right at the start. Have to say she's much more tolerable now she knows the truth. Nice to see her actually being nice to Ruby for a change.

I think he’s a good character and despite all his faults he’s been great with finding out his daughter isn’t his and been lovely to Ruby (and Will Ash can act which is good)

@JaneJeffer although I will admit Caleb has been a good character to watch. More watchable than most of the villagers.

I still can't figure out what Neeko's (sorry!) plan was? When Jimmy mentioned "the kids" she brushed that off as a "detail". Was she just planning on leaving them to fend for themselves for 3 months while she and Jimmy took sabbaticals from their jobs?

It really felt tonight like everyone (well, the writers) had sort of just thrown their hands in the air and thought 'let's go completely mental with this episode'.

The biggest shock for me was still Sam in the Porsche - totally clued in and on the ball. Even he must have been shocked when he saw the script.

It was written by the bloke who got sacked. Maybe he knew the writing was on the wall and just went bonkers.

I agree. Also love him and Ruby together. I don’t think grieving widow Ruby would be great. Although they could then pair her up with Cain which WOULD be great!
