Cassie's walking around with her tail between her legs, as Ken rumbled her nasty little game. Tracey saw through her but few others did, and Cassie's attempts to fool Tracey were lame. Hope still wants to be friends with her nan, but no-one wants Cassie around. She wants some love and friendship and support, but there's really very little to be found.

David wants someone to kill him so his family will be looked after. He wants someone to hit him with a car, these storylines are getting dafter! Kevin's got cancer it appears to be spreading, which is really quite worrying and sad. Rosie and Sophie haven't made an appearance yet, are they not worried about their dad?

Carla had her brother Rob's kidney, he's in jail for murder, under guard, but the guard is his girlfriend, and not be trusted, so escaping from the hospital wasn't hard. Abi's still struggling after seeing Mason killed, but trying to pull herself together. Her portrait of Kevin was a sight to behold, Debbie thought she'd be laughing forever.

Carla and Swain are still loved up, and Eileen's sister Julie's shown her face. She says she's got cancer, how awful if she has it too. Seems it's turning up all over the place. Leanne and Toyah's story has quietened down a bit, and the institution's in the past, Daisy's telling Daniel he's the baby daddy but he's not, I wonder how long the lie will last.

Jenny's about to be kicked off the deeds, at the Rovers against her wishes. Daniel's bailing her and Daisy out, and wants to make Daisy his missus. Max got a chunk of time in jail for setting fire to his house. And Dylan's incarcerated for possessing a knife, but is keeping as quiet as a mouse.

The Baileys have dwindled, and DeeDee where is she? Ronnie's still about, and easy on the eyes is he! I've probably missed something important I expect, and I'm sorry if I've missed something out. It's hard to remember everything and everyone, and make sure you don't miss nowt!

My head hurts with all this money floating about. Bits I think I remember:

Stephen stole £250k from Carla. Daisy cracked the code and she and Jenny bought the pub with it. Carla found out and they agreed to pay back in instalments. More recently Carla demanded all of the money to pay for her transplant. Daniel was persuaded to buy the pub to pay Carla off. Last night his money [how much?] was transferred to Daisy. Shona then demanded £40k of it [leaving £210k?]

The cash in Harvey's holdall: Was it £80k or £40k? Didn't Gayle and her new bloke take it to do up the place in France? Or did David buy the Platt house with some of it?

I know I must have got some of that wrong. Anyone?

I thought it was 100k Stephen stole but am probably wrong.

Apparently it's 40k that david owes. Harvey added on 10k interest at one point so not sure if it was originally 30 or they've forgotten that bit.

Jesse took all the cash and deposited the same amount into David's bank account so it would be 'legit' for the bank. And yes, he was planning to do up their gite with the cash.

I don't know why you even ask. Of course it's all normal. In my small terraced street we've got 2 unsolved murders and the wife in no.7 is having an affair with the wife in no. 11

The family opposite me have the same size 2 bed home and seem to fit their 5 children and 2 sets of grandparents in quite comfortably. Police presence in our street is so common now we don't even bother getting up from our seats to peep through the net curtains when we hear the kerfuffle.

There's much more but have to go now as I'm being blackmailed and I've agreed to drive the getaway car for a ...... no I've said enough 🙄

Daisy gave away £40k of Daniel's money and said she would give him the rest back. So her and Jenny still owe Carla her money.

He's been calling Eileen 'Eyelash' for months.

Honestly though, surely it would have been easier for David to borrow £40k from a friend or family member than try to kill himself. Audrey and Nick must have that sort of money.

It's Daniel's money. He transferred the money to Daisy to pay Carla back. Daisy hadn't got round to transferring the money to Carla as the paternity of the baby was revealed and she got hit by the car and lost the baby. Daisy is now transferring the money back to Daniel minus £40k which is hush money for the Platts. Daisy implied Daniel was also to blame for the hit and run on Shona so by paying Shona £40k of Daniel's money they are protecting them both and Bertie.

Jenny and Daisy still owe Carla.

The rovers is still in jenny and perhaps daisy's name, which is why Daniel has transferred cash to Daisy. No way he'd have not done that through legal channels though. Obviously Daisy had told Jenny she would be removed from deeds but that seemed to come from Daisy herself... Daniel was seemingly happy to hand over all bertie's money in the hope he'd end up with the pub at some point 🙈

Platt house was purchased with 30/40k of Harvey's money for a deposit and mortgage on the rest.

No idea how much money was in the holdall and how the Platts bought the house with it when Jesse also took a cut.

Jenny and Daisy own the rovers with the money that Stephen stole from Carla. Daniel gave the money to Daisy as he thought he was investing in their future and Daniel was going to remove Jenny's name from the pub and put his own name down in her place so Daniel and Daisy would own the pub.

No idea how many bedrooms Eileen has. Forgotten that Mary had moved in as well. I think 3 bedrooms but then Dylan and Sean used to live there to so who knows 🤷🏻‍♀️

Chesney's house must be a tardis. Gemma, Chesney and five kids. But then I grew up in a 3 bed house with 2 adults and 6 kids so know it's possible.

Also I wonder about Sarah's swanky flat. David, Shona, Max and Lily moved in after the fire (and before Max went to prison) so that must have at least 3 bedrooms as well.

I don't think Jesse took a cut. He simply laundered the cash.

David gave it to him. He already had the money in the bank to transfer to david from the sale of his own flat/house.

I'm not a fan of Daisy but I was glad that her rose tinted glasses finally came off and had a pop at Daniel. He chose Bethany over her countless times, didn't want anything to do with her when he found out it could be Kit's baby, wanted her when he thought it was definitely his baby, changed his mind when the true paternity was revealed and then wanted to play happy family's again when she eventually lost the baby. Daniel is awful and only wants Daisy (or anyone infact) on terms that suit and benefit him.

Also David did try and ask Nick for help with the money but he could only get 4k (i think) from the bank. I would imagine Nick isn't rolling in money at the moment since he's just had to buy Leanne out of the bistro, plus i dont think it was clear if they got any of the money back that she was stealing to frame Toyah. Audrey OTOH never seems to offer any help to her family and just seems to be around to moan and look down on their struggles. She did the same with Bethanys lipo debt.

I've only really liked Daisy when she was supporting Ryan after the acid throwing incident. Can't bear Daniel in any shape or form.

The actress is on maternity leave so not sure if she is returning but I'm sure if she does Daniel will make a play for her again🙄

Yes hope Daisy dumps Daniel. He's absolutely dreadful and was only interested in the baby. Bethany warned Daisy that she's better off without Daniel or Kit and looks like she's finally realised.

If Bethany returns and Daniel declares his undying love for her I'll be switching off as it's just lazy writing having Daniel going backwards and forwards between the two. And boring. I loved Daisy and Daniel when they were first together but it's all got very stale.

I felt sorry for Daisy. But her giving Shona the money did at least make sense of the Daniel/car nonsense which seemed so random. So Daniel losing his money was (kind of) justice I suppose.

(I think she’s already dumped Daniel, he sounded pretty dumped at the end of the episode!)

Hopefully we will not need to hear Harvey’s name ever again. That just leaves us with escaped criminal Rob, and Dylan in the YOI.

It did make all that portentous nonsense on Wednesday even more pointless that it originally appeared. No doubt nearly-dead David will be back at home next week with a slight limp.

So Jenny and Daisy are back in the same situation, owing Carla money. The easiest thing surely is to transfer the ownership of the Rovers to Carla. Presumably she’d let Jenny stay on and run it. Has that ever been suggested?
