Cassie's walking around with her tail between her legs, as Ken rumbled her nasty little game. Tracey saw through her but few others did, and Cassie's attempts to fool Tracey were lame. Hope still wants to be friends with her nan, but no-one wants Cassie around. She wants some love and friendship and support, but there's really very little to be found.

David wants someone to kill him so his family will be looked after. He wants someone to hit him with a car, these storylines are getting dafter! Kevin's got cancer it appears to be spreading, which is really quite worrying and sad. Rosie and Sophie haven't made an appearance yet, are they not worried about their dad?

Carla had her brother Rob's kidney, he's in jail for murder, under guard, but the guard is his girlfriend, and not be trusted, so escaping from the hospital wasn't hard. Abi's still struggling after seeing Mason killed, but trying to pull herself together. Her portrait of Kevin was a sight to behold, Debbie thought she'd be laughing forever.

Carla and Swain are still loved up, and Eileen's sister Julie's shown her face. She says she's got cancer, how awful if she has it too. Seems it's turning up all over the place. Leanne and Toyah's story has quietened down a bit, and the institution's in the past, Daisy's telling Daniel he's the baby daddy but he's not, I wonder how long the lie will last.

Jenny's about to be kicked off the deeds, at the Rovers against her wishes. Daniel's bailing her and Daisy out, and wants to make Daisy his missus. Max got a chunk of time in jail for setting fire to his house. And Dylan's incarcerated for possessing a knife, but is keeping as quiet as a mouse.

The Baileys have dwindled, and DeeDee where is she? Ronnie's still about, and easy on the eyes is he! I've probably missed something important I expect, and I'm sorry if I've missed something out. It's hard to remember everything and everyone, and make sure you don't miss nowt!

How stupid was that episode? Betsy getting shot was totally unbelievable! What was she even doing there? All the talk of puddings just reminded me how much I loved butterscotch Angel Delight when I was a child!😀

Unsure of how long Rob was keeping Tracey hostage. Was it overnight or a shorter time because his agony and bleeding would surely have rendered him weaker and weaker if not finished him off? The only thing I can say in anyone's favour is that Rob actor looked genuinely in terrible pain (but that could be because he'd read the script and had to do his lines 😁🙄)

The scene with Tracey rooting through the cupboard and finding cans of food many years out of date, I think the writers have totally lost their marbles.

Kit brought in dozens of police officers but nobody thought to seal off the ginnel so Betsy just wandered by.

Both he and have a go hero DS Swain should be sacked.

Do we know what actually happened to Debbie’s purse? I’ve rewatched the cafe scene and can’t see Mick stealing it or anything. Please don’t say if it’s a spoiler, just if it was in the episode and I’ve missed it!

I thought it was the fridge too. I think it's quite clear where they're going with the story, unless of course they're leading us on a merry dance. But frankly I see no evidence of them being that clever.
As for Betsy copping a stray bullet at the back of a supposedly cordoned off property, I'm just hoping the balls-up will stop Kit from having one of his tedious and hypocritical goes at Swain for going against protocol. Or, and here's a better idea, keep the cameras out of the police station for a while.

Rob actually escaped from prison over a month ago so all that time without treatment.

By my reckoning, the pothole saga was the most absurd plot. I still have no idea what happened.

Ah thank you @MonickerMonica and @AmusedMaker- I noticed her change in reaction after she opened the cupboard/fridge but missed the purse and didn’t make the connection. Makes sense now

But, how did the bullet go through the kitchen window and then through the back wall into the ginnel to shoot Betsy?

Debbie's purse was in the fridge and she acted all sheepish and didn't say a word.

Yep, I thought fridge and then she hid it again once she found it, and tried to downplay/minimise etc so Ronnie wouldn't go and confront them again.

Betsy somehow got past a police cordon, all the way down the ginnel and into the back yard or outside the open gate, to be miraculously standing in line of the shot that managed to get through Kens kitchen door, then the window, then hit Betsy... a feat of trick shooting we rarely see the like of!

Bit confused about pub. I thought Daniel had bought this so Carla could be paid back or has he withdrawn offer

I think even the writers forget but I’m not sure if Daniel had bought it because it would have meant Jenny’s name had to come off the deeds for Daniel’s to go on

Who owns the pub is getting as confusing as that holdall of money that's been doing the rounds for what feels like years.

So Betsy has a life changing injury. So that'll mean a week with one arm in a sling then all forgotten about I suppose.
