Sorry if there is a post on this already, I looked and couldn't find one.
I am really looking forward to seeing how this turns out. I was a big fan of this back in the 1980s/ 90s. Of course it did have John Nettles in when he was young(ish)!
Intrigued by some of the changes, i.e. :
- Bergerac is a widower not a divorcee
- Charlie Hungerford is his mother-in-law not his father-in-law, played by Zoe Wanamaker
- There is just one case over the full 6 episodes rather than a new case every week
Some similarities:
- He is still an alcoholic
- Still has a daughter called Kim
- Same car!
Bergerac to be played by Damien Molony.
I hope they keep the same theme tune.
