Gladiator question

I get a bit confused when a gladiator breaks the rules and the ref disqualifies them.
this happened in the last episode. I think it was sabre during the gauntlet.
yet when the next contender had their go, sabre was there.
so what do they get disqualified from?

Winning that particular event

They're only disqualified from that particular event with that contender. It doesn't mean anything really- just to make it more dramatic for the telly.

I wish they would get rid of the fly on the wall dressing room bit, it's so cringe. The worst one was when Saber was consoling / flirting with Apollo after he lost. Its was actually uncomfortable to watch

I do think I might be taking it way too seriously lol

The dressing room clips are so terrible that they're brilliant! It's like GCSE drama, it's our favourite bit in this house Grin
