I haven't watched last night's episode yet as I fell asleep a few minutes in, not a comment on the quality of the show just a side effect of having a ten week-old who had finally fallen asleep for a few hours!
Anyway, slightly off topic, but I just wanted to congratulate posters on the splendid Apprentice themed user names, articsaviour and i lovemytissues in particular bringing back happy memories of classic TA moments from the past!
I also thought it was scandalous that Dean wasn't fired, he's got none of the charm or enthusiasm of Thomas Skinner who was one of my favourites, Dean is just a basic old-fashioned sexist bloke.

I don't watch You're Fired generally, but did last night as was waiting up for OH. The awards reel at the start really showed up the quality (and I use the word lightly!) of the previous task outputs, which I think is likely because of the time given and the ludicrous split team in two before there is a clear brand/style/idea thing.

However will they manage on the Shopping Channel without Malika's acting talents??

With any luck there might be someone who got a B, or maybe a C in GCSE Drama.

Did anyone see the Amal Rajan interview with Suralan last night? He said it's very confidential (!) but he has signed up for three more series . He was also asked what he thought about people who obviously went on there hoping for a social media career. He replied that he can spot them from the start, flicking their hair and doing their lipstick, but they are part of the entertainment package and they never get the investment anyway.

Interesting. Next year will be series 20 - I was wondering whether that might be the last, but seemingly not. I have a feeling that there might be a shake up in the formula next year.

I wonder what kind of shake-up they could do???

17 years ago...how? Interesting both have gone on to have success since the apprentice, can't say that of too many in the last few years.

I thought Sugar’s comments on Brexit were very interesting.

I could think of a few
1 . ban the word passionate
2.stop the farce of the 4am call and the cars are outside in 20 mins ( even tho you won’t leave for 2 hours )
3.no food prep
4.allow contestants to say what they think when they have been fired rather than the standard “ thank you for the opportunity “

The stats (from Wikipedia) of the remaining candidates make interesting reading. Dean is doing well, and so is Amber Rose. Anisa isn't looking great, I think Suralan must really want a piece of her business to be keeping her in.

Brilliantly funny and both candidates came across as so genuine and normal. I'd forgotten how good this programme used to be.

Melica didn't really seem to get along with many of others. There didn't seem to be much to say for her best bits in the You're Fired programme.
