I admit that I hadn't watched for quite a while up until the crash episode, but I've been trying to figure out if Jacob and Sarah are actually a couple now? Apart from this pregnancy storyline, I had no idea there was anything going on between them, so wasn't sure if it was a one night stand situation?

Oh it's definitely a relationship. In fact, in one of the 'hospital Thursday' episodes Sarah turned up at the hospital and they scuttled off to have a 'hospital shag' - you know, as trainee doctors do, since they don't have much else going on 🙄

The 'relationship' largely consists of Sarah desperately trying to get Jacob's attention which he dispenses occasionally before batting her away like an irritating fly.

Sarah has had the same worried eye stare for years. No matter if a happy or sad occasion she seems incapable of expressing any other emotion than just that doe eyed stare. In my view she pips April to the post for awful acting.

It's been misery in the Dales for as long as I can remember 🙁🙁🙁🙁🙁

Would Sarah even be able to go ahead with a pregnancy given her condition?

I wish they'd make more of Claudette in an Edna Birch type character. She's already got the disapproving/shocked/scandalised expressions to hand.

I wanted Mary to evolve into a lovely, warm hearted matriarchal figure who always dished out wise words and lots of wisdom ...and yes I know we would all complain about Mart not having a storyline and what was the point of her !! 😂😂....

But instead , ...we have /almost had a continuing Mary and Suzie storyline .

Don't like the fact that Mary , Tracy and Manpreet might be quietly relieved that Layla is dead so there secrets are safe 😞.

Could have been some interesting stuff coming up if these storylines went ahead !

Oh don't... as Charity does this too and I'm sure it's a recent thing (Charity, not Sarah). I get that northerners say it differently to how we say it down south but I'm she didn't before. It's been bugging me enough that I feel the need to watch an old episode to check 😳

I'm a northerner living in the south, though not for much longer and I looked after a child called Jacob with one northern and one southern parent. They said it properly. Sarah just doesn't.

I've only ever heard it pronounced 'Cay-lib' and they all say it as 'Cay-leb'
