This is our tenth anniversary of sharing our thoughts on Our Girl series one and have subsequently watched the other three series, followed by Soldier Soldier, The Musketeers, Spooks and Hustle so thought it was time to try something different. Tom apologises to Lord G. All very awkward.

Meanwhile, Matthew is also struggling to deal with the Father-in-law over the Downton books. Also rather awkward.

Bates is back in favour again and miraculously, all Anna's letters appear.

Blimey, we've all burnt the toast on those damn things. Nothing has changed in a hundred years.

H Tom is slightly stroppy. Fortunately Sybil.straightens him out

Lord G is flabbergasted by Edith's letter being printed. Serve his right, the stuffy old duffer.

Now Anna gets her letters.

Look who has just stolen Daisy's thunder. A new kitchen maid has caught Alfred's attention.

Matthew is asking advice from Violet, so things must be bad.

Well, there we go. A bit late joining. The stupid thing was being in a bit of a rush I forgot the PIN for my laptop and tried it too many times and then it insisted on restarting before it would let me try again, but it seemed to be powered by a solitary snail on a treadmill! Anyway, remembered it at last. What a nincompoop!

Wednesday is Ok for me. I will be here on time and fingers crossed remember what I am doing. Famous last words. Have a good week everyone.

I see the delightful Adam Carter, aka Rupert Penry-Jones, is in a new drama series on Channel 5 this week. I will be watching. I've missed Adam!

I’ve watched last week’s episode. Violet’s one-liners are classics. Only Violet would have something good to say about burning down an Anglo-Irish Big House. 🤣
