This is our tenth anniversary of sharing our thoughts on Our Girl series one and have subsequently watched the other three series, followed by Soldier Soldier, The Musketeers, Spooks and Hustle so thought it was time to try something different. Ah, poor Edith happy at last and in an elegant dress.

NO!!! The old Duffer can't go through with it. Poor, poor Edith - she doesn't deserve this humiliation - she won't be "terribly, terribly happy!"

Edith is simply anxious to be married. Making it sound as if any one would have done as long as it was a wedding. Poor girl. Not the best of characters perhaps

It doesn't look good now, but I think Edith has the best overall storyline of the sisters, really changes and travels the furthest in her quest to find happiness.

The family return to Downton after the wedding that never was. Matthew tells Lord G that he is giving Lavinia's father's money so that they can keep Downton.

Matthew tells Lord G that he will save Downton. Robert says they must jointly own it.

I know of a couple of women who had that approach. Both marriages ended in divorce too.

Skived that aerial shot of a step over the carpet.

I think Violet feels she should have had first dibs at the wedding food which is now going to feed the poor of the area.

The staff aren't very keen either getting lobster for tea.
